I woke up and groaned. Today was a school day. I headed straight to my shower and done everything I needed to do.
My outfit was casual and I threw my hair up into a ponytail. I kept my makeup simple as always and put my cut on top.
I walked downstairs and saw Jax with Abel. "Hi auntie Kayla" Abel said to me after taking a bit of his toast. "Hello babe" I smiled at him and made myself a coffee.
"Why are you two staying here?" I asked Jax as he got up. "Abel wanted to come over early and have his breakfast here because according to him 'Grandma has better food'" He replied and I chuckled a little. "Well he's not wrong" I said and took a sip of my coffee.
I finished my coffee and said to my goodbyes to Abel and Jax as I walked out the door, leaving for school.
I rode to school and parked my bike. It was a nice sunny day outside and as I was enjoying the sun I saw my friend Jay standing at the main door waiting for me with my usual Starbucks.
"Thanks hun" I smiled at him as I took the cup of Vanilla Frappe out his hand. "You're welcome princess" He replied in his usual more feminine voice.
Ever since Kindergarten me and Jay have been close. He knows every thing about me and I know everything about him. Ever since Amelia died, we've became even closer. He's my gay best friend and I wouldn't have him any other way.
Me and Jay walked to the main office, sipping our Starbucks and saw Mr Johnston standing at the office. "Kayla what did I tell you about your cut?" Mr Johnston said to me as I signed in with Jay. "And what did I say to you? This cut isn't coming off my back until I'm dead" I said and put the pen down. Mr Johnston just sighed and rolled his eyes, he wouldn't win this and he knew it.
Me and Jay both had History with Mrs Davidson and today we were learning about motorcycle clubs. I knew for a fact Mrs Davidson would want me to speak about the Sons of Anarchy and would probably want Jasmine to speak about the Mayans.
Jasmine had been bragging for the past week that her dad had became a prospect. No one cared, he wasn't a patched in member yet and probably had a year minimum until he does get patched in.
Me and Jay sat down and sipped our Starbucks and pulled our folders out our bags. Me and Jay always were trouble in History, mainly for the reason we didn't like the subject yet we were still passing with A's.
"Okay class, welcome back. Today we're going to be learning about the History of Motorcycle clubs. Now Kayla I know you probably won't be listening but this topic is in the course and I have to teach it" Mrs Davidson smiled as she walked in and I rolled my eyes. "So in about 15 minutes time, two people from a motorcycle club are gonna be coming in to talk to you" Mr Davidson continued and Jasmine leaned over to me.
"I think it'll be two Mayans" She smirked and I gave her a blank look. "This is charming, not Oakland" I replied and looked back at the board. She then sat back in her seat, cross armed.
15 minutes had passed and she had just been rambling about that MC's are not what people make them out to be. I think she was just trying to be nice as I was sitting in her class.
We heard a knock on the door and instantly my face went red as Jax and Opie walked in. I put my head on my desk and sighed in embarrassment. "This is not happening" I whispered to Jay and he laughed. The whole class turned to me and then realised who walked in.
"Could you introduce yourselves?" Mrs Davidson asked them and they nodded. "I'm Harry but call me Opie" Opie smiled at the class and locked eyes with me, making my face go a brighter shade of red. "And I'm Jax" Jax continued, he also looked at me and gave me a sarcastic but devilish smile.
As Opie opened his mouth we heard the Lockdown alarm go off. This alarm only goes off when there's a shooter in the school.
Everyone panicked yet they still managed to get into their positions so the criminal wouldn't be able to see the students through the glass but Me, Jax and Opie had other ideas.
We got our guns out our holsters and headed out the door. Mrs Davidson tried to stop us but there wasn't anything she could do that would make us stay seated in the classroom.
As we turned one of the corners we saw the guy, turned around looking into every door. Jax raised his gun. "Put it down" Jax shouted and me and Opie raised our guns too. He turned around and who we came face to face with wasn't who we would expect.
"Salazar?" I raised an eyebrow and he sighed. "Well done, Kayla Teller" Salazar said and pointed his gun at me. "All I want is your darling princess, Kayla" He said to jax and I scoffed. "Well your plan went to shit didn't it" Opie replied, tightening his grip on his gun.
After 10 minutes of arguing with Salazar the police finally showed up. Salazers gun was still pointing to me when they came to the corridor we were in.
"Everyone put your guns down" I heard the familiar voice of Agent Stahl shout to us. I rolled my eyes and kept my gun pointed towards Salazar.
He never explained why he wanted me and probably never would but since the day I was born, he's taken an interest in me.
Stahl sighed as no one put down their weapons and Salazar smirked.
One of the officers behind Salazar told me to duck when he counted to three. My guess? He was going to take Salazar down.
The officer counted to three and I ducked but when Salazar got taken down, he still shot his gun.
My ears were ringing and I tried to see if anyone had been shot, then I looked beside me and saw Jax with blood seeping out his side.
"Jax" I screamed as he fell down to the floor, bringing his hand up to cover the bullet wound which had hit his side.
"We need paramedics now" Stahl spoke into her walkie talkie.
I lay beside Jax making sure he was okay. The bullet had just hit the side but a bullet wounds a bullet wound.
As soon as the paramedics came, they stitched my brother up and told us it hadn't hit anything apart from his skin.
We rode home and made sure Salazar was put in cuffs and locked up.
No one knew why he wanted me but he looked determined but fortunately he didn't get his way.
So these chapters have been kinda shitty so sorry -T x
