The ground rumbled as every explosion went off. The air humid and dusty. With every hitched breath my lungs filled with a burning sensation. I leaned back against the giant jagged stone, trying to keep my cover. It's rough edges poked deeply into my back, making it ache as I stiffened out more. My feet in place ready to defend from any attack from both the training heroes a savage villains.

Beside me, hid my younger twin brother. Crouched down to his quivering bruised knees, he repeatedly glanced over his shoulders looking out for potential danger. The pants to his suit ripped up to the knee revealing dried bloodied cuts and bruises from a fight we had just moments ago. He had only one of the two black leather gloves, which was already thorn apart. Nothing but at least two small pieces of cloth and a few threads, which was left of the glove. The thick black silk turtleneck he wore, dirty and shabby. There was a large rip in the fabric across his abdomen. And the sleeves forced away leaving behind just broken strings. He turned his head to me. Tears rolling down his pale face. Parting his thin chapped lips to only let out a low shakily whimper. His eyes seemed to flash different colors amongst the changing of light due to his condition heterochromia. His left eye a bright golden yellow, leaving the right a blood shot red.
Another explosion went off. It obviously was close to our position since the impact pushed the boulder forward, causing the heels of my shoes go along with it. And from the sudden movement, Nao fell frontwards. His messy raven black locks flew into his face, as he proceeded to wearily lift himself up to his weak feet. He clutched the sides of his head and squeezed his eyes shut. "It's like freaking war zone!" He exclaimed terrified, and as he spoke the was the sound of growing cheers. The atmosphere changed, as I started to see more heroes rushing through the facility's entrance. Heroes that I've always heard from the news, but never looked up to, arrived to protect the students who we came to attack.

The remaining villains retreated back quickly ever since the heroes showed up. They vanished, leaving Nao and I behind, and that was one problem out of the way. All we had to do now was sneak passed the heroes, and then... We'll finally be free. The heroes and students gathered at the entrance. They carefully rounded up the captured villains, many in which I knew personally well, and and injured students and staff.
I took Nao's hand in mine. "We can sneak amongst the prisoners and then from there we can takeoff?" I suggested. Placing a finger on his chin, Nao rethought the idea before giving me an answer which was a slight nod of approval. We stood up ready to go, but after giving a glance to the entrance, I noticed that we've been spotted. A student from the school, gave off the most deadliest glare. His dirty blond hair seemed like its spiked up even more. His brows furrowed so much it making it appear as if he were squinting. His muscular hands sent off small blasts. Without thinking, me and Nao left our position and started running to find a way out. "Where the hell you think you're going!" His loud angry voice echoed trough the facility. As I ran I happened to look back, he used explosions from his palms to help him zip through the air. Knowing he wouldn't be able to get both, me and Nao ran separate directions. And being the asshole he is, he had to still go after me. While trying to escape, I ended up tripping over my own foot. I fell, hitting the left side of my face and scraping my knees.
The student got closer real fast, which didn't bother me since I knew what to do, but his constant screaming sent me over the edge. Constantly yelling out profanity and nonsense. I felt like busting out his freaking teeth. Only two yards away, and he let out the first explosion towards me. Still on the ground, I threw myself to the side, dodging. I'd use my quirk but he needs to stay still and on the ground.
Explosion after explosion. That's all he did and I carefully dodged each one. "Hey Explodo Brat! That's all you got?! When you're done warming up fight me like a real man!" I yelled at him, which sent him over the roof. Getting down to my level he threw punches and small blasts.
His fist came up to my face, but I caught it quickly. I tightened up my grip. His other fist went towards my face. With my other hand I caught his other limb. He struggled to break free. I pushed all my strength towards him. The boy fell onto his back. I sat on his chest. His teeth grinned hard as my quirk stared to take affect. The skin of his hands turned a deep purple bruising, as his bones all the way to his wrists broke. Without any feeling but immense pain, he pulled his arms back. I got up and kicked the boy in the ribs. "Idiot!" I hissed at him. Unlike previously, he was silent. Sitting on his knees, the boy kept his arms to his chest and looked down "Cat got your tongue?!" I laughed. "Is this what heroes are like?!" I nudged him with the heel of my boot. "Can't even look me in the eye! How pathetic." I said before turning away.
I took off sprinting for Nao who was actually being captured by the hero Present Mic and another student. An odd looking girl with vibrant pink skin and similar colored curly hair and crooked white horns, held my brother down while the pro hero cuffed him.
Before I could defend my brother, a strange fragrance blew into the air and gave off a purple hue. My legs grew heavy, my head felt puffy, and my vision became blurry. "(Y/n)!" Nao cried out.
