Mercy woke up happily. She booked tickets for a week on a cruise! She happily skipped into the kitchen. Ellie followed behind slowly.
"Your happy this morning." beth said to her. Mercy nodded happily and pulled out the tickets for the cruise.
"I'm taking us all on a vacation so we could get to know each other better, knowing that you guys didn't even know me before a few days ago." She turned to them.
"Lets us go have some fun!" she said smiling. They all agreed. Rick agreed but was skeptical about it. They packed there bags getting ready to leave. Ellie and Mercy were really hoping this plan would work. If it didn't they had a plan B. And a plan C. They boarded the cruise. There was a pool, a hot tub, a gaming room, a deck, parties, a bar and so much more. Mercy found Rick at the bar. Obviously.
"Get outta here kid your too young for these kinds of drinks." The bar tender said to Mercy. Mercy shook her head.
"No no just here to talk to my dad." She said pointing to Rick. The bar tender gave her an uneasy look but let her go sit by Rick. She sat down on the other side of the table.
"Are you liking this Vacation?" Mercy asked
"Seeing as though we have only been here for an hour, yeah, I guess so." He said to her. She smiled.
"Happy to hear it." she said.
"Are you always drunk?" Mercy asked Rick looking at all the bottles of whisky he has been having.
"Yeah pretty much."
"You do know you can die from alcohol poisoning? Right?" Mercy asked
"Of course I know. But I have a million clones all over the universe that it probably wouldn't matter."
"Of course it matters." Your the original Rick. So if you died, wouldn't all the other clones die?" Mercy asked.
"No, I made them, so if I ever did die, they would say alive." Rick replied to her.
"Oh. Nice to know." Mercy said to him.
"What is our family up to?" Rick asked popping open another bottle.
"Morty and Ellie are playing Call of Duty in the video game room, Summer is checking out the hot life gaurds, Beth is relaxing by the hot tub and I have no idea what Jerry is doing. She replied
" What have you been doing? " Rick asked
"They have the biggest library here." Mercy said taking out a couple books from her bag.
Rick ruffled her hair
"Just like your mom" Rick said smiling.
"At first I was uneasy about this whole vacation thing but now I think I will enjoy it" Rick said finishing his bottle if whisky.
Mercy smiled to hide her smirk
My plan is working.
Mercy and Rick went and played some card games. Rick would win some and mercy would almost win others. It was a great daughter and father time together.
Rick was enjoying himself.
