His Daughter: Rick and Morty

Rick tried to hide his butterfly symbol on his hand, which is not very easy seeing as though it glowed a bright neon purple from it. Rick decided to wear black rubber gloved from now on. 

"Rick, why are you wearing those gloves?" Morty asked Rick. Rick scoffed at Morty's stupidity. 

"Have you seen how gross and dirty these people are. I saw some guy go out the bathroom and not wash his hands then go to the arcade room. Humans. DISGUSTING. Morty shrugged it off and went to the arcade room. There was one thing Rick Sanchez was good at other than building machines and weapons: Lying. Night time was approaching soon it would be time to go find this Light guy. It was 1 am. Rick went and woke up Morty and Mercy, he needed his partner in crime and his partner in time for this mission. Rick took a swig of his beer and opened a portal. Mercy jumped through, then Morty, and Rick last. The place they were was, dark and gloomy. It looked lifeless. "R-Rick, where are we?" Morty asked nervously

"The Shinigami realm." 

"Oh! I read about this place in a book. It's basically a place where Death Spirits or Supernatural beings go. No one knows exactly where it is, only that it is above Earth." Mercy said. Morty got even more nervous than before. 

"Rick, what are we doing here?" Morty asked. 

"We are here to get a notebook." Rick answered, and started to walk. They had to avoid stepping on bones and ancient stones. "Who has the notebook?" Mercy asked.

Some douche named Light."

A giant demon looking guy came up to us. Sweat ran down Marty's back when he saw the demon looking creature. Mercy smiled and gave the demon a small wave. The demon looked at her and nodded. He looked at Rick.
"Rick. What brings you to the Shinigami Realm?" The demon asked. When he spoke he hissed his S's."
"Where is Light?" Rick asked. The Demon grinned. "He is expecting you, Rick." The demon said to him. Rick ruffled his brow and looked at Mercy then at Morty.
"Is he now?" Rick asked, "Yup. Have fun." The Demon said as the floor below them disappeared and they started to fall. Rick didn't yell or anything, morty cried as he fell and Mercy had a high pitched scream as she fell. They fell into a thick lake of black water. It almost looked like black pen ink but the smell smelt like burnt human flesh. Mercy swam to the surface and gaged as she came up. She swam to a shore. Skulls, bones of different kind of animals humans and creatures Mercy had never seen before were scattered everywhere on the ground. Everything was grey and black and dark. It was like batmans cave that smelt like death. She looked around for Rick and Morty. They were no where to be seen. Mercy want to call out but fear filled her, fear that some creature was near by. A creature that caused all these bones to be here. Mercy didn't want to be his next victom. Mercy walked trying not to make noise but that was hard because some of the bones were thin and cracked easily. Mercy looked for a way out, light anything. Then she remembered she had her multi-use pocket knife. She got out the flashlight and shined it in front of her. The cave was filled with bats, well they looked like bats. A dinosoar version of a bat. The bat skreetched at her and started to attack Mercy. Mercy had to act quick, she looked around at her options, she grabbed a long bone that was near her and whacked the bat away from her, it skipped across the murky black ink and slowly went down in the water.
"Home Run!" Mercy said quietly to herself as he wiggled her arms around, doing a mini victory dance. Mercy held onto her long bone just in case the dino-bat came back. Mercy kept going looking for her father and Morty.
"Your looking for your father right?" A deep voice said. Mercy looked around, shining her flashlight everywhere rapidly looking for the voice she just heard.
"Where are you?" Mercy said, Mercy turned around "Show yourself!" She said while spun around looking for whatever or0=- whoever just talked to her.
"Do you know why Rick is here?" the voice said again.
"No?" Mercy questioned. The voice sighed.
"Your not supposed to answer a question with another question." The voice said. As sarcastic and funny as that comment  was, Mercy was too afraid to laugh.
"Why is Rick here?" Mercy asked.
"He is here to kill me so he can have a resurection stone, a stone which he plans to bring back someone. From the dead." The voice said.
"Your Light?" Mercy asked.
"I am. Who do you think he will bring back?" Light asked
"Obviously my mother, but bringing back someone who is already dead could have catostroffic results. Potentially ripping a tear in time and space. Hasn't he seen Doctor Who?"
"Who was you favourite Doctor?" Light asked
"11 is my favourite."
"Ew with Matt Smith? Matt Smith is just one giant chin, I liked 10." Light said
"Don't insult my favourite doctor!" Mercy whined.
"I speak the truth." Light said to her.
"Anyway... Back on my father potentially ending life as we know it... Again." Mercy said with a sigh.
"I agree with you. He can destroy all life. Not just on Earth, this galaxy as well." Light said
"I usually don't take the side with a guy who kills people for a living but I think saving other planets and people is more important right now." Mercy said.
"Yes. As much as I like killing people, i would like to be alive as well." Light said.
"Alright then, its settled. Now then, where are you?" Mercy said looking around.
Light emerged from the darkness. He had neatly combed brown hair, a nice creamy suit, brown pants, a red tie, and brown shoes. Though he wore white gloves which was odd.
"Nice to finally see you Light." Mercy held out her hand
Light took her hand and shook it.
"Its nice to finally be seen." Light said. "Alright now come along now, we have an old man to stop."
"Its always my old man." Mercy sighed as she followed behind Light. She didn't trust him but she has no other choice.
