•Song: Figure It Out-Royal Blood•
"Getting hard to sleep
Blood is in my dreams
Love is killing me
Trying to figure it out."

"Best feeling ever!" Stanley said as he emptied the contents of his school bag into the rubbish bin outside of school, his four friends did the same.
"Yeah? Try tickling your pickle for the first time." Richie spoke confidently, producing a quiet giggle from Natalia, the only girl -until Beverly Marsh- in their friendship group. The rest of the group ignored the renowned class clown's comment.
"What do you guys want to do tomorrow?" Eddie asked, returning his empty backpack onto his shoulders.
"I start my training." Richie pushed his thick glasses carefully up the bridge of his nose as he spoke.
"What training?" Eddie questioned, frowning slightly.
"Street fighter." As Bill and Stan observed the conversation silently, Natalia let out a chuckle,
"Seriously Rich?" She raised her eyebrow, with a grin on her face. Richie smiled back and gave her a wink, causing a pink blush to graze her cheeks.
"Is that how you want to spend your summer, inside of an arcade?" Eddie enquired, narrowing his eyes at the curly haired boy.
"Beats spending it inside your mother!" Richie exclaimed and raised both hands to the people on each side of him. While Stanley grabbed Richie's wrist and brought his arm down, Natalia accepted the offer and gladly high-fived him.
"What if we go to the quarry?" Stanley offered, looking to his friends for a reaction.
"Can't we go to the Aladdin? I want to see this movie called Ferris Bueller's Day Off. It just came out and I heard the main guy is cute." Natalia requested, causing an eye roll from Stanley and Richie.
"Guys, we have the Buh-Barrens." Bill said, causing all of their faces to drop their grins.
"Right." Stanley nodded, the sympathy for Bill in his eyes growing by the second. All of them were silent for a second, before Eddie spoke again.
"Betty Ripsom's mom." He spoke softly, diverting all attention to the woman who's eyes were lined with red, puffy flesh as she glanced longingly at the school building.
"Is she really expecting to see her coming out of the school?" Stan asked, the sympathy he showed converted to the woman and continued to sadden him.
"I don't know, as if Betty Ripsom's been hiding in HomeEc for the last few weeks." Eddie replied with a cheerless sigh.
"You think they'll actually find her?" Stan said, turning back to the group. Natalia started to speak, but was interrupted by Richie.
"Sure. In a ditch, all decomposed, covered in worms and maggots, smelling like Eddie's mom's underwear." Despite cringing nervously at Richie's comment, in fear that it may upset Bill, Natalia let out a giggle over the comparison.
"That's fricking disgusting." Eddie grimaced.
"She's not dead she muh-muh-missing."
Richie straightened his glasses again, "Sorry Bill, she's missing." Natalia placed a hand on Bill's shoulder supportively and he gave her a weak smile.
The group began walking away from the bins, Bill first, then Eddie a little behind him, Richie and Natalia walked side by side and Stanley behind them.
"I mean the Barrens aren't that bad, who doesn't love splashing around in sh*tty water?" Richie said loudly, creating a smile on Natalia's face, who seemed to be the only one to hear him.
Her happiness quickly faded when Henry Bowers grabbed the handle on Richie's backpack and sent him stumbling into Stanley, the both of them falling to the green, grassy ground. Patrick Hockstetter squatted beside Stan,
"Nice frisbee, flamer!" The older, taller boy said, before he picked up the only Uris child's kippah and threw it through the open window of the school bus. Henry strolled to Natalia, who had backed away slightly, and looked right into her hazel eyes with his bright blue ones. His pupils dilated and he ran his tongue across his bottom lip. A small, hidden part of her wished he had stared for a little longer. Belch Huggins came up behind Eddie and -as the nick-name would suggest- burped right into his ear, causing Eddie to gip and move away. Henry extended his arms forward and pushed Natalia by her shoulders. She toppled backwards, but remained on her feet. Once Henry and Patrick had joined Belch, they began walking away. Natalia helped Richie and Stanley back to their feet, making sure that they were not hurt.
"You suh-suh-suh-suck Bowers!" Bill exclaimed angrily, causing the three bullies to turn back.
"Shut up Bill!" Eddie said quietly.
"You suh-suh-suh-say something Bub-Buh-Buh-Billy?" Henry asked, slowly making his way back towards Bill. "You got a free ride this year, because of your little brother. Rides over Denbrough, this summers going to be a hurt train, for you and your stupid friends." Henry towered over Bill and glanced over to Natalia, before looking back at Bill.
"Leave us alone Henry." Natalia said, as she stepped forward to challenge the bully. He grunted and moved toward her instead. She immediately regretted her decision to intervene, as he raised his brow and a smirk grew on his face.
"What are you going to do about it bitch? You're just a little girl. I'd like to see you try." He said, grin enhancing with every word.
"I'm stronger than you think Bowers. I'd send you home crying to mommy— oh wait, she wouldn't be there, would she Henry? It seems that she disliked you just as much as the rest of us." Natalia looked at Henry with a deathly gaze of steel, allowing her to see the glaze over his after her comment. His bottom lip quivered and she watched as the mouth of Reginald Huggins fell open with astonishment. Patrick let out a quiet chuckle. Henry turned his back to her and walked towards Belch's car, where Victor Criss was waiting. He roughly nudged Patrick on the way past, who along with Belch followed the leader of their 'gang'.
"No way did you just slaughter Bowers like that." Richie laughed and clapped his hand down on the girl's shoulder.
"Yah, that wuh-was pretty cuh-cuh-cool of you Natalia. If it wasn't for you I probably would've been all cuh-cut and bruh-bruised once he'd finished with me." Bill said and gave her a thankful smile.
"Pretty cool? You're one for underestimating big Bill! That was awesome!" Richie yawped and began pretending to bow to her, sending her cheeks a deep pink colour.
Once her adrenaline flow died down, Natalia lost her excitement and happiness. She couldn't get Henry's face out of her head. Perhaps I did go a little too far, she thought, I shouldn't have gone that far. As the five of them also began walking away, Richie's arm slung around Natalia's shoulders, she sighed and disconnected herself from the conversation. Belch's car passed them slowly and she made momentary eye contact with Henry, but saw an hours worth of emotion. His eyes were still watery and he was biting his bottom lip in an attempt to hold back tears. She observed him glance at Richie's arm around her and flare his nostrils. She thought particularly that he looked angry, but it was not due to what she had said to him. This anger, which sprouted from the pit of his stomach, was over Richie Tozier, more specifically the way he interacted with Natalia. This anger, was a new type to Henry. He had obviously been angry in the past, but not like this.
This anger, was a form of burning jealousy.
