Maria's POV
The house was silent. I was awake in the middle of the night tossing and turning, trying to find a comfortable position to fall back asleep into however it wasn't working.
My eyes just wouldn't shut. I toss to my right and watch the moon peek through the blinds. I then huff and lay on the other side of my body and my eyes were greeted to Ethan's sleeping figure. I admired his face and watched the shadows along this jawline.
I decided to go downstairs and grab a drink of water to try to help myself go to sleep.
Just as I was getting off the bed, I felt someone quickly grab my wrist. I look to see it was Ethan.
"Where you going?" He says in his deep husky voice. He was cuddling my pillow while he waited to hear my reply.
"I'm going to get a drink"
"Get me one too" He says kissing my hand.
"Will do" I say smiling back.
Ethan's POV
As Maria leaves I sit up and grab my phone from the nightstand to check the time. It read 04:09.
I smile to himself and get out of bed and walk into the bathroom.
Maria's POV
As I walks into the room and I nearly trip over my feet as the lights were still off but I managed not to spill any of the water.
As Ethan's coming out of the bathroom I turn on the lights before handing him his glass of water. I sit down on the edge of the bed and watch Ethan chug the water really fast.
"Stop staring" Ethan laughs as he hands me the empty glass and walks into my closet.
I crawl over to the nightstand and place the empty cup on it.
"So wh-" I was cut off by Ethan who'd thrown his black hoodie onto my face.
"You're gonna need that" he says coming out of the closet laughing at where his hoodie had landed.
"Ethan-" I begin to ask a question however I'm interrupted by Ethan saying "I'm taking you somewhere" as he puts on his sweatshirt that had been in my room for ages now.
"Ethan, it's like four in the morning" I say confused while standing up on the bed.
"Exactly" he says before lifting me off the bed.
