The Parings

Grace woke up to Nova's face with a smile on it and said, "Good morning Nova Star." Nova said, "Good Morning Grace." They got up and went to get ready for the teams to be picked after they got their weapons Nova asked Grace, "So honey what is your weapon." Grace took out her Scimitar and said, "It is a Scimitar that can turn into an AK-47." Nova said, "Sweet I have a bayonet it has some nice range on it and can kill a Grimm quickly and silently." Grace said, "Wow my semblance is that I can temporally freeze time." Nova said, "Cool I can control people's minds.". Rachel said, "Heh I have a Spas-12 that can turn into a katana and I can make illusions." Gabriel said, "I have a bazooka that is also a club and I don't have a semblance I guess that blew up in your face." Rachel said, "Let's just go." They went to the cliff and they were all standing on platforms when Glynda said, "So we are here to get teams set up. Now there are rumors that you get to pick your teams well we are hear to end your rumors." Ozpin said, "You see we will launch every last one of you into the forest will your first person you make eye contact with will be your partner for the next 4 years at the end of this forest is a place with some artifacts collect them and come back to the cliff with your partner and artifact to pass the exam if you come back without a partner you will automatically forfit the exam, don't hesitate to kill anything in the forest or you will die. Any questions?" A blonde haired guy with a chest plate covering a black shirt, blue jeans with knee pads and brown shoes asked, "Um will parachutes be give out?" Ozpin said, "No Mr.Ark you will make your own landing strategy." Just then Grace went flying she used he Scimitar to stab on a tree sliding down it all the way to the bottom. She puled her weapon out of the tree and started walking around staying alert she then heard rustling behind her and turned around with her Scimitar ready to slash but it turned out to be Nova who was lying on the ground holding her knee causing Grace to say, "NOVA ARE YOU OK!" Nova said, "Yeah I'm fine I have been through much worse." She stands up to show she is fine and says, "Guess we are partners in both ways." Grace blushed and said, "Yep let's find that temple." Meanwhile Rachel had just been launched and she landed on the tip of a tree and climbed down by jumping on other branches of the tree until she reached the ground and started walking with her gun in her hand then she got surrounded by a bunch of black colored bears with white masks that has red markings on it she switched her Spas-12 to a katana and started slicing at the bears when she saw someone kill one with a bonk to the head and that was Gabriel who said, "Need some help with these Ursi." Rachel said, "Well you can help if you want but I don't need any." Gabriel started hitting Ursi left and right while Rachel was slicing their heads off finally they killed all of the Ursi. Rachel said, "Welp let's get moving." Gabriel said, "Ok." After a while of walking they saw Nova and Grace standing at the temple who both said, "Hey guys." Gabriel said, 'Sup?" Nova held the piece u in the air to let them know they got a piece and Rachel grabbed the same piece causing Gabriel to ask, "Why does it matter?" Rachel said, "My mom told me about how this school's teaming work out by choosing the same artifact we will all become a team of 4." Grace said, "Yes now we can be in the same team." Just then a blonde haired girl with a brown jacket with a yellow tank top that has a fire symbol on it, black shorts, brown boots and a dark brown belt that has light brown tassels on it and black haired girl with a black bow, white and black shirt with white shorts, black and purple tube socks and black boots came over here and the blonde said, "Oh hey aren't you three the girls that Ruby made friends with on the ship?" Grace said, "Hi and yes I am Grace." The blonde said, "I'm Yang." Nova said, "The name's Nova." Rachel said, "I'm Rachel." The brunette said, "I am Blake." Gabriel said, "Gabriel is the name telling jokes is my game." Just then that blonde from on top the cliff landed into the tree trunk. Grace yelled to him, "Are you ok sir." The guy said, "Yep." Just then Ruby fell onto the blonde making him say, "Never mind." Ruby said, "Sorry Jaune." Jaune responded, "That's ok." Then I heard someone yell, "YOU DITCHED ME!." We all looked up and saw a girl with white hair that has a tiara in it,  a cyan and white dress with a short red cape on it, and cyan and silver heels and Yang asked, "Is she riding a Nevermore?" The white haired girl fell on her face Gabriel said, "Yup." Then a girl with orange hair, a white and pink dress, a black and pink jacket and white pink and black shoes cam in riding an Ursa and she killed it and said, "Oops I broke another." Gabriel was stunned by her beauty and couldn't say anything. Yang asked, "Did she come in riding an Ursa?" Blake said, "Yep." She then grabbed a white rook piece, placed it on her head, and said in a sing song voice, "I'm queen of the castle, I'm queen of the castle." We then heard someone say, "Nora! Don't do that again." Nora then let the piece fall in her hand and stood next to a guy with black hair, a green shirt, black and purple gloves, white pants, and black opened toed shoes. Grace said, "You're Weiss Schnee aren't you." Weiss said, "Yes I am, finally some recognition." Just then a red head with  a gold headband, a brown and gold vest, a brown belt with a gold circle on it over red and black belts with a red tassel hanging off, and brown and gold boots came in being chased by a giant black scorpion with a white mask that has red markings on it and golden stinger. Yang asked, "Is that a DeathStalker?" Grace said, "Yeah it is." Yang yelled, "CAN EVERYONE CALM DOWN FOR  FIVE SECONDS." They all stood in a straight line then Nova said, "Um don't forget we have a giant bird and scorpion after us we should get to the cliff." They all started running towards the cliff we then they found it was dead end. Nova asked, "What do we do know?" Grace sees the Nevermore and Nevermore and she gets an idea. Grace said, "Gabriel quick shoot the cliff then everyone jump on the debris up the cliff." Gabriel did as he was told and so did everyone else but there was no time for Grace to get up there so she stopped time and jumped on the debris. When she got up she hit a sharp rock aiming it near the Nevermore's head. Time went back to normal and they saw the Nevermore was stunned and Grace was up there. Nova said, "How did you get up here so fast?" Grace answered, "My semblance." Nova said, "Oh right." Grace said, "We should get going before that Nevermore comes to." They all ran toward Beacon and when they got there Grace said while pointing at the red head, "Wait a minute aren't you Pyrrha Nikos?" Pyrrha said, "Yep." The brunnete said, "Hi I am Lie Ren but my friends call me Ren." Grace said, "Nice to meet you I am Grace." Nova said, "Sup I am Nova." Gabriel said, "The name is Gabriel." Rachel said, "Hi I am Rachel." Jaune said, "Jaune Ark."  Nora said, "Name's Nora." Gabriel started blushing when Nora got near him. Grace said, "Well we should get going to the stage." When they got to the stage they called out teams with Ozpin saying, "Jaune Ark, Pyrrha Nikos, Nora Valkryie, Lie Ren you four got the white rook pieces together you will be Team JNPR led by Jaune Ark." Everyone except Rachel was surprised then Ozpin said, "Congratulations young man. Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Yang Xiao Long and Blake Belladonna you four got the black knight pieces and together you will be Team RWBY led by Ruby Rose." Yang then said while hugging Ruby, "I am so proud of you." Ozpin said, "Grace Williams,  Nova Torchwick, Gabriel Smith, and Rachel Ozpin you four got the white pawn piece and together you will be known by Team GNGR led by Grace Williams." Grace was glad but mainly since she was on the same team as her friends and this will be a time for her. They got to their dorm and Nova said, "Ok what do we do about beds?" Grace said, "How about two on each side of the room." Everyone was ok with it as they set up the beds. Gabriel said, "Well we should unpack and get ready for class." It took them a while but they finished unpacking and it was 8:58. Gabriel said, "Ok what time does classes start." Rachel said, "We need to move classes start in two minutes." They ran to the class room and just listened to Port speak most of the time and saw Weiss battle a pig Grimm when the class was over they went to lunch but no sooner when they arrived did Grace get her ears pulled by some jerk named Cardin Winchester (The only reason why I didn't give him details on his looks is for two reasons 1, no ones cares about this racist prick and 2, he won't show up again) who said, "Look an animal." Grace was crying while saying between sobs, "Please... Stop." Cardin just pulled harder then Nova punched him the face and said, "You leave her alone you jerk!" Cardin said, "Oh we have a hero now don't we." Nova said, "How would you like it if people treated you like that." Cardin said, "Whatever." He just walked away. Grace was kneeling on the floor crying Nova noticed this, walked u to her, knelled down to put her arm on her shoulder and said, "Hey hon it is alright he is just a bully." Grace said, "This always happen to me I just want to be treated like everyone else." Gabriel said, "Listen Grace from one faunus to another I get the same thing happening to me but you just ignore those jerks and if they are pulling your ears just punch them in the face." Grace said, "But I don't like fighting people." Nova said, "Well you are going to have to get used to it because you have to do that to help people." Grace said, "Ok but if someone pulls my ears I can just use my semblance to escape." Rachel said, "Yeah ok let's go eat." They ate lunch and enjoyed their break from learning. They saw Cardin bullied everyone he didn't like.
