The air was filled with the sound of clashing blades and the yells of warriors over the call of the monsters that surged through the land. With the Princess safe the goal of the warriors turned to the complete destruction of their enemy. Over the rage of the war a high pitched scream of a teenage girl echoed through the land causing the warriors to flinch for a moment, one standing completely still briefly before continuing the battle...
Merrick awoke with a start, sweat on his forehead. His gaze scanned the area but he saw nothing but the wooded clearing he had chosen to sleep in late that night. His mind raced as he thought about the original battle against the dreaded Orgs three thousand years ago and then the more recent battle that ended only 2 years past. Deep buried memories started to spring into the main thoughts of the ancient warrior...one memory in particular stood out to him. Merrick took a deep breath before rising to his feet and continuing his path, going where the winds took him. His mind continued to flash with memories but the same memory as before kept re-appearing, him pushing it away constantly. Out of nowhere a particularly strong gust of wind blew into him, stopping him in his tracks as he peered around. Merrick knew a gust like that meant trouble but from what he wasn't sure. He became aware of a buzzing noise around him, growing louder by the second. Merrick spun round and came face to face with a hideous creature with the looks of a wasp, small wings and large beady eyes combined with the body style of a human, coloured black and yellow. Its six arms waved threateningly. Merrick's eyes grew wide at the sight, automatically getting into a fighting stance. The creature laughed, his cackles sounding like a thousand wasps buzzing at once. "One puny human can't stop me!" The wasp creature raised his arms and a green blast flew from his eyes, hitting Merrick and sending him flying. Merrick looked up at the creature, his right hand clutching his left arm in agony "How are there still Orgs in the world? We destroyed you!"
The creature laughed again, walking over to Merrick and pulling him up. "That's because i'm not an org bee brain! I'm a Vorg! the more powerful version of those pathetic excuses!" The wasp Vorg hit Merrick with its arms, throwing him into a tree. Merrick groaned in pain and looked back at the wasp Vorg as he approached. The wasp Vorg raised its arms to strike Merrick once more when a beam of blue light engulfed Merrick, sucking him into the air much to the confusion of the Wasp Vorg."Hey! Get back here!" The Vorg jumped into the air towards Merrick before he disappeared altogether...
