Chapter: 3

*Miki's P.O.V.*

"No, not there. There." I pointed to the left.

"Here, Mistress?"

"Yes, finally after 20 billion times."

Fiona put down the table. "Umm..."

"Yes, Mistress?"

"Over a bit to the left."

Fiona picked up the table and moved it over a bit.

"Perfect!" I clapped happily.

Fiona exhaled heavily as a knock came to the door.

"I will answer it, Mistress." Madison walked over to the door.

"I wanna come!" I hurried behind smiling.

Madison opened the door revealing Ciel and Sebastian.

I smiled. "Hello Ciel! Hello Sebastian! You two are early!"

"Well, Milady you did not say we could not come early." Sebastian bowed.

"Yes, I believe I did not..." I looked up at Madison. "Take their bags and show Sebastian their room, please Madison."

"Yes, Mistress."

Sebastian grabbed a few bags and Madison grabbed the rest.

I watched them walk and disappear up the stairs.

"Miki, what is the meaning of us coming here?"

I turned to Ciel. "So, we could get to know each other!" I grinned. "I thought I told you that already."

Ciel's eye narrowed at me.

My smile went away. "Ciel, please do not look at me like that."

"You're going to tell me your true reasons for bringing us here."

"But, I didn't. You two came on-"

"You know what I mean! Stop beating around the bush!"

Then Madison and Sebastian quickly showed up.

"My lord, what is the problem? You are yelling at your betrothed."

"There is no problem, Sebastian. Ciel is just a bit angry. Maybe a piece of strawberry cake will make him happy!" I skipped into the kitchen with Madison, Sebastian, and Ciel following.

I tried to grab the cake but, it was too high.

"I will get it Mistress." Madison grabbed the cake and we all walked into the dining hall. Madison cut me and Ciel a piece.

"I made it this afternoon! Well, along with some help from Madison." I started to eat.

Ciel poked the cake with his fork. "Is this poisoned, Sebastian?"

"No, my lord. It is safe to eat."

"Excuse me could you and Sebastian leave please, Madison?"

"I will leave, Mistress." Madison walked out.

"My lord?" Ciel waved to Sebastian.

Sebastian bowed and left the room.

"You can eat it. I'm eating mine just fine."

"I'll never eat anything that you make."

"Why do you dislike me all of a sudden?" Tears swelled in my eyes,

"I dislike you because of your mother, is that a problem?"

I quickly stood and placed my hands on the table. "Yes it is!" Tears ran down my face. "You're just... Being a jerk, Ciel! The thing is that you won't even give me a chance..."

After a few seconds I was engulfed in an awkward hug.

"If you want me to give you a chance... I guess I can."

"Ciel..." I hugged him and he awkwardly hugged back.

After we broke the hug Ciel and I sat back down.

"So, tell the truth. Is this poisoned?" Ciel poked the piece of cake again.

"No. I won't poison you, Ciel." I smiled.

"Alright..." Ciel sighed heavily then ate little bit of the cake.

"Do you like it?"

"It's okay. Don't get excited."

I smiled and hugged Ciel's head causing his eyepatch to fall off. "Oh, I'm sorry Ciel..."

Ciel opened the eye that was covered and it was a light purple. "It's fine, Miki." He then put his eyepatch back on.

I stared at him in awe.

He looked at me in confusion. "What is the matter, Miki?"

"Your eye..."

"Yes, what about it?"

I cleared my throat. "Never mind." I opened the dining hall door and walked out.

Ciel soon followed after me. "Miki, are you alright?"

"Yes, I'm fine." I continued to walk when Ciel grabbed my wrist. I pulled away. "Ciel! I told you that my butler gets nervous when people-"

Madison and Sebastian showed up.

"Mistress, are you-"

"I am fine, Madison!" I turned away from all of them and stomped away.

"Mistress!"

"Madison! I order you to have everyone on the manor leave me alone for the rest of the day!"

There was a pause then Madison answered, "Yes, Mistress."

I picked up my pace and ran to my room. I closed the door then exhaled heavily.

I ran to my closet and searched through the clothes.

"Come on... Come on... Yes!" I'd found my to say "play" clothes section of my closet. Madison had hid all of my shorts, overalls, t-shirts and sneakers from me.

I grabbed one of my backpacks and grabbed a few pairs of overalls, shorts and t-shirts. I quickly changed into a pair of black shorts with a white and black striped shirt. Along with some black hightops.

I quickly put on the backpack and looked out the window. It looked like it could rain so, I grabbed my umbrella and jumped out the window. I've gotten used to the drop so, it doesn't hurt much anymore. I dusted myself off and looked around.

"Mistress? What-"

I looked over again, no one there. I ran off and away from the manor into the forest.

Alright you guys!!! Sorry for the late update... I've just had major writer's block. But, I got this out for you guys and soon hopefully the next chapter. I'll see ya guys and stay cool but, just not cooler than me.
