Chapter 4 Siege of Wall-Tal

During the battle there is a wall being constructed near the borders of the free people of dulgulkor and chaos, this wall would block the chaos tribes and prevent them from invading. Defending this wall are four thousand the militia of dargarthia, ten thousand the boys of the orcs and three thousand of the miners and heavy militia of dwarves, about twenty thousands of goblin archers and spear, two thousand Nordic pikes, and one thousands vampires and a hundred thousand skeletons. This force was tasked to defend the wall. The wall was running along the border of the free people and chaos. The top of the wall was large enough to hold and carry a large army about a hundred million.

The commander was darthoul the unbreakable a Nordic commander who is known for leading a small but strong army, know to ambush and keep the dargarthians from conquering the Nordic border village of Zandom, the village is near a narrow valley, almost too narrow for cavalry and or siege equipment, and marching a large army would take days to get through the valley because it would reach the far end of the field of wolf's tears.

The commander was looking over the men who were formed up in lines and were all awaiting orders, this was an inspection that they would do every two weeks and once a day, the captains would order their troops to get ready however they would take their time because there were a lot of men to get ready for inspection, the prep would take hours, however the vampires only needed to summon the skeletons, for they already had armour and weapons ready.

The inspection went well and the men were dismissed, however the goblin spears and archers were on look out and patrolled the walls for any spies for in or on the walls they were merely their because the nords and goblins though not on greatest terms they were still allies and they needed to protect their country and families.

It was night, the wolves were howling, the men were sleeping and the goblins were keeping an eye out for a chaos horde, all was quiet too quiet.

A goblin spearmen was walking along the wall until he heard something and turned, he saw a large cloud of dust and called out to his commander.

"What is it grummy?" came the gruff voice of the goblin officer known as icol the head smasher he wore crud armour as all goblins do however his armour had a more brownish colour to it most goblin armour is grey and or dark grey, however officers have brown armour and or green armour.

"I think that there is trouble ahead!" grummy said as he pointed to the dust cloud.

Icol saw and froze up for a second he could see that the chaotic tribe of dranes and kirgons force, the horse archers of the kirgons and the warriors of scale mail of the dranes were most recognize able to the goblin officer.

"Warn the commander tell him that we have dranes and kirgons, and sound the alarm!" he ordered

The goblin spear men went to the gate of the wall and the archers got on top to shoot their arrows, the goblin equipment are crude but get the job done in a fight.

The entire force took fifteen hours to wake up and get ready for the invasion of the chaos horde, the dargarthians militia was the behind the goblin archers while the orcs were waiting at the inside of the gate, the heavy militia of the dwarfs were waiting on the second level of the wall and the miners with blasting charges were ready to throw said explosives.

The pikes were in front of the outside gate to prevent any of the chaotic horde from leaving the wall or fortress.

Since the orcs and goblins were many in numbers they were divided into three groups for the other three levels and outside.

The skeletons were summoned outside in front of the wall by the vampires to block the horde from entering and be meat shields, the bags of bones formed a shield wall, their tower shields looked old and rusted and their swords also had an old rusted look to them.
