It's been a long time now since I saw Stannis smiling. Too long if you ask me but he didn't had a real reason to smile. His older Brother Robert left him alone at Storm's End. Stannis first thought was that it is an honor for him to defend Storm's End the homestead of the mighty and everywhere known house Baratheon but now he realized that Robert just left him there because he doesen't need him. I believe he is feeling like a dog who gets captured in his own cage while the other dogs can play on a green field. ,,Maester Jura, do you have something new for me?",, Ähm yes mylord a raven came a few minutes ago." ,, And, he asked with a hopeful voice, who send it?" ,,It is your brother Robert, mylord...he interrupted me: ,,Did he win in the Reach?" He asked like he really thought his brother won because Robert never lost a battle before. ,, Im sorry, mylord Maes Tyrells army was just too strong but i can tell you Robert is alive and most his army aswell. He is asking Lord Arryn and Lord Stark at moment. With the army of the North and the green valley we should be able to end it all and take bloody revenge for everything Aerys did to us." And finally I saw a little smile on his face. ,,Good...very good he said, but you look depressed Maester Jura, is there anything else you want to tell me?" ,, Yes actually there is mylord, Maes Tyrell could easily chase Robert and his army to defeat them in the North but he let them go. Robert send this raven as a warning to us. Maes Tyrell, his 50.000 man with Paxter Rothweyn and his 1000 ships are on the way to Storm's End. Roberts army is too weak to help us at the moment so we are completly alone, mylord." From one second to another his smile turned into despair and you were able to see fear on his face.
