Actually important

That's a first.
So if I seem distant,
And am not as active..

Well, I'm depressed at the moment.
More than usual, that is.

Remember the cat that had his face missing?
Well he lived through. Just had a scar.

But when we took him to the vet..
We learned he was suffering.

He had a tumor in his jaw, a kidney failure, and tapeworms.
So today, January 26, we did the best thing we could do.
We let him out of misery.

It hurts my heart, yes,
But..

I dunno.
