The class wrapped up quickly after the rest of the teams were assigned. Their mentors were quick to come and take them for the customary introductions between the team mates. In fact, all teams had been picked up already save for two. Team 6 and 7.

The eight students sat in a rather awkward silence for a long time. Naruto hummed and swung his feet below him as he sat in his chair but cast discreet glances at his best friends that spelled, 'where the hell are they?'.

Sasuke, who sat a little ways away, ignoring the pinkeye who currently clung to him, forced himself to remain stoic and not act out again. It was already uncharacteristic of his persona to push the girl away so harshly, but he honestly couldn't help it. The anticipation of the reveal was getting to him and he didn't like having to wait.... at all.

Hinata was unfortunately stuck next to Yasuko and smiled politely at whatever the girl was saying. It was mainly talk about chakra bloodlines and training she was doing which bored the hell out of the Fairy Heir. The exercises that Yasuko was bragging about was child's play compared to what her and the boys had to do on a daily bases. Every so often, she would cast longing glances at the door, praying to all that was holy that their mentors would come through it.

Kurama scowled, his glare set on Naruto's twin from his seat behind the girl. He was still pissed off beyond belief that he was stuck in a group with that girl and was rethinking his decision to maintain a human form all those years ago. He'd rather be stuck back in Naruto's mind right now then have to listen to the blonde drone on.

His glare was replaced when he noticed Naruto's look and immediately opened their mind link, 'What's wrong, Naruto?'

Naruto jerked subtly at the sudden voice in his head. He was use to it of course, like it was his subconscious, but at the same time, it was surprising because the link was random. Not even Kurama was truly use to it whenever Naruto spoke to him first. Tapping his fingers against the desk nonchalantly, Naruto spoke back, 'I'm just irritated that they're taking so long. It's highly unprofessional and a complete waste of time. I mean, it's just introductions right? 10 minutes tops and then we can go home.'

Kurama blinked at Naruto's small rant. He typically wasn't one to complain so it was a shock to see a bitter undertone take to his otherwise fake happy eyes. 'They should be here soon. Hotaru can be a complete mess. Once, she actually-'

Naruto listened intently to what Kurama was saying. He still didn't know the connection between the two and was dying to figure it out. Being in the dark about something never failed to put him on edge, so while he wanted to trust Kurama about this Hotaru girl, he couldn't help but be wary. Depending on how close the two were...or had been, their entire plans could crumple.

Unfortunately though, Kurama caught himself before he spoke too much. Naruto scowled as his mentor snapped the mind link closed and averted his gaze, and simply faced forward now. He tapped his fingers against the table, listening to their steady thrum, thrum, thrum, sound. He sighed, realizing that it was at this moment that his persona would become restless and idiotic enough to want to prank his mentor as revenge. He closed his eyes shut for moment, telling him that it was just two more days, before he leapt into action.

Sasuke removed his eyes from the pinkette clinging to him in shock when Naruto suddenly threw up his hands angrily.

"That's it!", Naruto yelled, slamming his hands on the desk to push himself up, "I'll teach them to be late!". He made his voice slightly higher in pitch for his persona and he briskly walked to the front board, tapping his chin as he thought of a plan.

To be completely honest, Naruto had a million ideas for a good revenge plan, but knowing that he was suppose to play the part of some dumb kid, he settled for somthing simple and childish. Wiping the board clean of the chalk with the erasers, he loaded the thick cotton with the white substance and immediatly grabbed a chair, dragging it over to the door. "This'll be great!"
