Part 16: a new start

After all the hardships and bustles of their life as a student, they finally graduated and starting to find a job. Gary chose being a web designer, and Jihyo well a secretary in a company. Their relationship with each other, let's say also progressed. Status: Mutual Understanding. Jihyo and her family moved out from his house and bought a new apartment for her parents and one for her.

"Hey, let's have dinner with the oppas later, eoh?" it was a pleasant afternoon and their day-off is today. He snapped out of reality when Jihyo nudged him. "Yes, let's call them, my treat." here they go again, being lovey-dovey but never confirming their feelings for each other. "Arasso oppangg~" he smiles seeing this girl in front of him, who's like the human version of sunshine.

"Hey, do you think this dress suits me?" it was 6 in the evening and all they can do is call each other while waiting for the time. "It's better if you take it off." his comment made her cheeks blush in wild red, averting her sparkling eyes away from him. Gary chuckled a bit, "Just kidding Jihyo, it suits you." she smiled flapping the bottom of her dark coloured dress. Last time we saw her just wearing fluffy and pastel clothes, but now she grew up bold.

"Cheers!" the room was filled with cheerful voices lightening the atmosphere.Finally, after all these years of working they were able to be compete again. Shocking news and stories can be heard. HaHa stood up while lifting a glass of wine, "I would like to announce to all of you, me and Byul are dating. Cheers!" mouths opened and laughs can be seen. "CHEERS!"

"Anyone else got an announcement?" Kwang Soo winked at Jongkook who is now blushing. A moment of silence took everyone, as Jongkook and Eunhye lifted their glasses up. "Everyone, as you have expected," Jongkook gave her a small smile signaling her to continue, "we are also dating."

"CHEEERRRRSSS!" HaHa being in his old playful self yelled as everyone was left laughing and congratulating the newly born couples. Until it's the moment of truth.
"Got anything else left to say?" Byul blurted and everyone suspiciously look at the last couple with their grinning smiles.

"Yes?" Jihyo bit her lower lip. "We're not yet dating."
Everyone was in shocked. "But you two are the superior couple!" Kwangsoo retorted as Gary chuckled a little. "Not now, but soon."

And their night was filled with laughter and happiness.
