****************

Eric watched as she left his classroom. He couldn't help but be intrigued by her. He would admit, her looks were breathtaking. He hoped that she was more than just a pretty face. And by the way she was talking to him, he actually had some hope.

He may not be that young; but he knew that true love dominated all. He might not have gone to college when he was supposed to and decided to be lazy, but he knew his hard work would pay off.

All Eric really wanted was to find someone else to settle down with. Even he didn't know why he picked to be a teacher; he thought he would have more options. And besides, the thoughts of dating a student drove him crazy.

Deep down in his subconscious mind, He knew that he wouldn't be able to get the girl out of his head. He needed to know her name, he had to know. In a totally non creepy way of course. The last thing he wanted was to come off as creepy.

He sighed loudly and began to gather up his things. He didn't know where this semester was going to go, but he hoped it would go as smoothly as he had already began to plan. He knew he would go home and drink, drink until he no longer felt the hole that dominated his chest.

After his late wife had passed, it was all he ever did. No one could get him out of it, no matter how hard they tried. Eric was usually what you would call a loner, only having around two real friends. He may only be 32; but to him he was old and his life was almost over with.

He had seen no reason to live, until he seen her. When he looked at her for the first time, it was like an amazing smack in the face. She had the same, long brunette hair that his Annabelle had and those piercing blue eyes.

She could be a dead ringer for his late wife, and he supposed that's what had drawn him to her in the first place. From their conversation, he could already tell that she was completely different from his wife, and so far; he liked it.

He smiled to himself, already thinking of ways he could win her over. And from this moment forward, he would try to win her heart. But first, he needed a drink.

                                                                        *********

Teegan sat on the edge of her bed, fingers drumming lightly on her thigh. She was contemplating on whether or not she should go out and have fun, or stay at home and watch movies. It was a Thursday night and she hated to be stuck at home.

She sighed loudly, getting up and going to her small closet. It was two times smaller than the average closet and she hated it. It wasn't nearly enough room for her to store all of her clothes.

She had one wall covered in pictures of her favorite things and in the corner stood a wooden desk for her to do her writing on. She knew that she would do some writing on Mr. Hayden and maybe she would be brave enough to publish it one day.

Her mind wandered back to Mr. Hayden completely, wondering what he was doing. She knew that she had only known him for less than a day, but she couldn't help but feel somewhat attracted to him. He was like her perfect match, and his personality proved it to be true. Well, little of what she had heard.

She yanked most of her clothes aside until she settled on a black dress that came to her mid thigh. When she was out, she took away her glasses, and tried to straighten over her already frizzy hair. It didn't work most times, but a girl could still try. She stripped of her pajama pants and shirt, leaving her to be just in her bra and underwear in the mirror. She wasn't exactly skinny, nor was she fat. People said she had curves in all of the right places and sometimes, she was thankful for that.

She did, however hate the unwanted attention from men she got. She was a woman, not some toy. She pulled on her dress and twirled around. She was going to have fun tonight, whether or not she had someone with her. She was fine on her own and she knew it would probably stay that way.

Thirty minutes later, Teegan was all dolled up and ready to go.

She wouldn't have any guys over, because she wasn't that trashy, but it would be nice to invite that sexy professor of hers over sometime. She giggled to herself, grabbing her keys off the counter.

                                                      *******

"Can I have straight vodka, please?" Eric eyed the bartender, watching as she gave him a shocked look.

"Are you sure, sir? This will get you wasted in no time." Eric shrugged. That was his plan.

"That's my plan." The lady shook her head at the young man, wondering why he would be drinking like he was. She thought he was too handsome to throw his life away on drinking. But nonetheless, she poured him a drink. Once she handed it over, she tossed her head towards the entrance.

It was almost hard to see, but she could see a woman who looked to be around twenty walking into the building and staring at the young man before her. A look of shock was set on her face and her eyes were a bit wide. The Bartender had thought this was maybe his wife or something. She quickly glanced back at the man, and noticed that he had seen the woman as well.

The woman began approaching the man. She looked at the man with admiration in her eyes and opened her mouth to speak.

"Why are you drinking?" the man turned to her, a look of surprise and wonder on his face.

"Because I can? Why are you here, ms..?" he trailed. So maybe he didn't know the young woman beside him.

"Geez, do you not ever look at your roster? Its Ms. Martin." The man began to laugh. Of course, he already knew her name. He only wanted to be a tease.  Signs of the vodka already starting to hit him.

"Ahh yes. How could I forget such a beautiful face?" It was then that the bartender realized that the man was probably a professor at the local college. And she had to be one of his students. She turned away, leaving the seemingly infatuated couple be.

Teegan took a step back, shocked my Mr. Hayden's words. She figured that she'd better go before things got too out of hand. The last thing she wanted was to get this man in trouble. She gave an awkward laugh.

"I'd better get going, Mr. Hayden. It was nice to chat with you!" With one last glance, Teegan looked into his blue eyes and bolted towards the back of the room. Something told her she'd better stay and watch. That's exactly what she did.
