She tried calling him, but his phone was off. The more she tried to reach him, the more restless she got. She recalled the conversation they had the night before the race. "Baat karne ke liye kuch bacha nahin." He must've said it in anger Sanyukta tried to placate herself. He didn't mean it. Everything that had happened was overwhelming for her so it must've been overwhelming for him as well. She sent him a message telling him she loved him, but there was no indication of a reply or whether or not he had even read the text. "Tum bhi meri maa ki taran ho..." he had said. Sanyukta felt her body temperature drop. Her stomach seemed to have dropped to her foot. She needed to see him, to touch him, to hug him. She felt her breath coming quicker, as if she were running out of air. Everything seemed to be getting out of control. She took one look at Parth before briskly walking out of the room to go to the roof. She needed to breathe.
"You've ruined everything. Tumne aapni zid ki vajhe se sab kharab kar diya... tumhe apni zid, apni ego ke aage kuch dikhai nahin deta Sanyuka. Main bhi nahin. Last 4 saalon se tum yehi prove karna chahti ho ke you're better than me..." his words got louder and louder.
Once on the roof, she caught her breath. Dhruv had followed her. She hunched over and tried to calm herself but she felt like her throat was closing. "Sanyukta, it's okay. Tumhe panic attack aa raha hai. Breathe. Mujhe dekho, stand up. Look at me Sanyukta". It took all of her might to follow Dhruv's directions. She looked at him and tried to breathe. Tears flowed and her breath came intermittently. Dhruv held her shoulder and told her to "Breathe" as he breathed with her. Sanyukta no longer able to contain herself let out a cry and began bawling. She had lost everything, or so it seemed. Dhruv held her in his arms as she let it all out. Even though she had been under observation in the hospital, she had not come out of the trauma she had incurred. It was a good thing she was crying thought Dhruv. 20 minutes elapsed by the time Sanyukta had cried herself to sleep. He carried her to Parth's room and had another bed brought in.

After the competition and checking on Parth and Sanyukta, Yoyo was brought back to FITE where he was told by several companies that they wanted to hire him. Not knowing what to do, he went back to his hostel. This was his home, but after everything that had just happened, he was dumbstruck. Sanyuktaji couldn't have possibly done what she did on purpose, could she? He knew Randhir bhajee had a temper and had a tendency to jump to conclusions where Sanyuktaji was concerned, but this was a serious situation. When he went to go see Sanyuktaji with Tanya, she was concerned for Parth. "Nahin, nahin. Jaan bhujhe ke nahin kiya hoga Sanyuktaji ne. Oh Waheguru Parth bhajee nu theek kardo." Yoyo looked at the offer letters and tried to divert his mind. Tanya came to his hostel room. She knew he was feeling low. While everyone thought of Tanya to be a party girl who was here to chill and had no interest in studies, that wasn't quite true...
All her life, she had been taught what to do when. How to sit, what to say to people, how to dress. It came with the territory of belonging to a Royal family. And up until this year, she had been the quintessential royal daughter. One taste of FITE and freedom changed her desires to a point that she didn't even realize. She no longer wanted to be confined to a life of rules and decorum. And she was about to take the biggest step of her life to solidify her independence. What she needed was some help. Yoyo would be the perfect way for her to break free. Plus, he needed to get out Delhi for a while. With everything going on, Yoyo was too good of a soul to be hurting so much. "Acha Yoyo, tum busy ho kiya? Agar busy bhi ho, koi baat nahin. Mujhe tumse kaam hai. Kiya tum mere saath mere ghar chaloge? Papa ne bulaya hai aur mujhe tumhari help ki zarorat hai. Bolo, karoge? Please na mat karna."
Yoyo knew Tanya was trying to make him feel better. He was not as dense as everyone thought him to be. After being in FITE for 10 years, he had learned his share of knowledge. And while he wasn't as brilliant as Randhir or Sanyukta, he was pretty smart. He just was never motivated to do well. At least not until Kaustuki came into his life. In a way people needed him to be who he was. FITE needed someone like Yoyo for the atmosphere to function. If everyone was competitive, there would be no things as friendship. Yoyo's priorities were different. As such, he was more sensitive. Some people thought that was his weakness, but those who knew him well knew that this was his best quality. He agreed to go with Tanya not just for her sake, but for himself as well. He needed to get out of this place for a while.
