"Ah, Hyung"
Obviously Jungkook would have had no willingness to apologise to me first. I sighed. Well, that's unique to him.
The mischievous grin on his face already hinted some kind of remorse I guess; I know that Jungkook has his own different ways to show his emotions. That is what I like about him.
"So are we going to tidy this mess up?" I asked.
"Yeah, I guess we have to."
He was right, I could almost feel the gazes of the people in the café pinning me down, and there was only one way to stop that. Although, I could almost hear Jungkook moaning. I chuckled.
Fortunately, one of the staff in the café decided to help us from our misery, but I could clearly sense her disappointment. Jungkook then ordered a medium cup of black coffee. The hot steam was almost rampaging out of the cup.
"How were you so late? I even had time to go to the café!" I asked as I nudged him. He snorted.
"Maybe my passion was dying as I was sleeping!"
Instinctively, I lifted my hands and covered his mouth. Surprisingly, he didn't jerk back.
"Don't you dare say that again. You know it is the way that most idols..." Somehow my words couldn't escape from my mouth. Yet, he still understood and nodded with obvious guilt.
I slowly brought my hands down. We walked the rest of the way in an almost unbearable silence. Neither of us had the courage to start a new conversation.
About five minutes later we were already being welcomed by the other group members.
"I'm your hope, I'm your angel. I'm J-Hope, or for short Hobi!" The members almost burst out laughing at my remarks; it was their first time hearing it. Even at the corner of my eye, I could see Jungkook's eyes brighten up, although he was still in guilt.
At that moment I really had an urge to comfort him, but that would have meant explaining the whole conversation about Passion to everyone, which was definitely the worst way to boost someone's morale. I didn't want to risk that. At least not today, on the day of the auditions. Morale would be vital for us.
"Today we have a new member joining us ...... Come on in Park Jimin!" Leader hyung's voice (RM) boomed in the practise room.
Jungkook, who was leaning on the wall, immediately pounced up upon hearing the news.
"But today is the day of the auditions. He's never practised with us!" It was as if he was pleading and moaning at the same time.
Leader hyung just totally ignored Jungkook's abrupt remark, and continued to explain himself.
"I'm sure, once you see his burning passion you will understand my decision" RM hyung responded with an unwavering voice.
Jungkook once again slumped back onto the wall, staring defiantly at us all.
