Four Letter Word

Chapter 1.

Taysha's p.o.v.

"Hey dom!" I yelled at my brother. I just came home from my best friends house.

"Where were you? Mom called earlier asking about you. I told her you were out working on a project for school." I live with my older brother Dominic and my nephew Dj. I'm actually kind of shocked that my mother called. My mom, well she was never really around while I was growing up. She was too far up my dad's ass if anybody could consider him a father. Neither one was ever around. Me and Dom were basically raised by our Nanny. Even she was absent most of the time. To my parents we were just screw ups that they wish didn't happen, Dominic more than me. My dad kicked him out once he found out Dom got his girlfriend at the time preganat and said he was keeping it. My dad said and I quote "you're ruining you're life, like I almost ruined mine!" My dad sent him packing and when I turned 18 I moved in with him. That was four years ago my brother is 21 now.

"Oh.. I was at Christian's house." He started smiling

"Ohh... so um what did you guys do?" He wiggled his eyebrows at me. Christian (but I call him Chris) and I have been best friends for as long as I can remember. We always hung out I guess we just clicked. To say Chris is attractive would be an insult. He's gorgeous. Tanned skin, thick black hair, green eyes with body thats so muscular so athletic but also slim, I honestly don't understand how we are just friends. But knowing him for so long I know i'm no where near his type. Not even close.

I punched him and he started laughing

"It isn't funny... you know nothing happened and you know it's not like that." even if I wish is was.

He sighed "My littler sister is in denial. How cute." He tried to mess up my hair but I moved away from him before he could.

"Whatever. Good night" I walked away and went to my room. Tomorrow I had school and I can not be late again.

A new day and it's the same routine as always. Wake up, take a shower, do my hair, brush my teeth. You know the usual. I felt lazy today so I decided to wear black leggings and my blue letter man jacket with my jordan 4's. I put my hair up in a messy bun. I grabed my stuff and called my bestfriend Mia asking her for a ride since Dominic left to take Dj to daycare. I grabed an apple and went outside to wait for Mia.

"Hey girl" she smiled at me while I got in her car. 

"Hey, Whats up?" A lot of people think me and Mia are related which is really hard to believe Mia is 5'9 with long curly hair with grey-greenish eyes and is skinny. I mean she can seriously pass as a model. Where i'm 5'7 with stright hair and hazel brown big eyes and I am no were near her size. She wears a size three where i'm like a size 10. It always depends on the type of mterial it is. She says it's because I have a big butt, But I honestly don't think that my foot can fit in jeans. We look nothing alike except maybe our skin color is the same shade as creamy caramel.

"Girl! Did you see the twins this morning?" she asked me while we were walking through the school.

"Um no why what happen?" We stopped walking and stood infront of Chirs and his friends.

"Oh Nothing...I was just asking" The twins are a in their 11th grade year. They are Chris' little brother's. They always get into trouble and today i'm guessing is no different. She kept talking but I tuned her out while listening to Chris' conversation he was having with this girl.

"So your going to call me right?" she smiled at him and was trying to act sexy.. yuck. No i'm not jelous just... disturbed by how these girls act around him.

"Yeah of course... I'll see you around I promise I will call.." He turned around and smiled. "Taysha!" he walked over to me and Mia and gave us both a hug. 

"My two favorite people" The girl walked by us and gave me a nasty look that could probably kill. I just rolled my eyes. You'd think i'd be use to the glares the girls here given me because chris is my bestfriend. I hate shit like that, but I guess thats what happens when your friends with the cutest guy in school.

"Anyways! Tay like I was saying" Mia stopped talking about the twins and now kept talking about my brother which is another reason we can't be related, she is practically in love with him.

"Your brother is so fine! His brown mocha skin, grey eyes, those dimples! ugh could you imgaine him in bed!"

"Ew no! Shut Up! I don't want to think about my brother in bed!"

"But just think about it!" she had a glazed look in her eyes as if she were really picturing my brother and her in bed. I could tell she was about to go into detail so I covered my ears "La La La I can't hear you!"

"Bitch." she said under her breath. I laughed at her and kind of felt bad becuase she really likes my brother. But he's just a flirt doesn't really do the whole dating thing. Not since his last girlfriend. Dj's mom. She's liked him ever since we were in 7'th grade and he kissed her at a party. It was only a dare but she's been hooked ever since.

The bell rang and it was time for the last period of the day. "Bye Mia!" I called out. she waved bye and went to her class. Chris and I have 7th period together. 

I thought class was supposed to be fun when you have a subsitute teacher. My class is just boring I hate it. I would talk to Chris but he left the class along time ago. He tried to make me go with him but I hate being with his friends. It's not like I don't like hanging out with boys I just don't like hanging out with them. They are like the girls you see in those movies that gossip in the bathroom when they are having a bad day.

"Hey Taysha" I looked up and saw Mina she's a nice girl she just doesn't have a filter. She talks way too much. One time last year in English class we had to present ourselevs and she took up the whole class period. The teacher had to cut her short when she started talking about the first time she had ever kissed a boy.

"Hey Mina" I waved at her and went back to texting Mia who was having a more boring time in class then I was. Mina was still standing next to me so I looked up at her.

"Uhhh... Whats up?"

"Can you hook me up with chris?" she blurted it out so fast I almost didn't understand her.

"You like him?" I didn't get why girls always came up to me fangirling over chirs. I mean yeah he's beautiful and popular and tall and his eyes are so dream—- shit I did it again.. anyways I just don't get it.

"Well... I mean yeah.. but if there is somthing going on with you guys then.."

I looked at her and started laughing

"Umm no... I'll tell him about you and i'll tell him to call you." as if me and him would ever have anything going on. Mina was more of Chris' type. Tall, small with a rack that makes people stare.

She looked at me and started smiling like crazy

"Really?" I nodded my head at her. The bell rang I waved good bye to her and headed to the locker room for practice. She was still in a daze while I was walking away from her. I hope she doesn't bump into someones locker.
