Beca POV

{4 months ago}

It was the middle of the night. I needed to go. I took the letter and pulled some clothes out of the laundry basket and put the letter in there. I threw the clothes back in and then went over to Amy's bed. I slipped the box underneath. I got up and quickly made my way down to Emily's room. I walk in and see Flo asleep. But Emily wide awake on her phone.

"Em, can you drive me somewhere?" I ask. Emily's head bursts up and nods her head. She gets up out of her bed and grabs a jacket. We make our way outside and get into the car. "You know where that old bridge is?" Emily nods her head. "Can you take me there?" She nods once again and she starts the car. On our way there it's completely silent. Good, she's not one to ask questions anyways. It's giving me room to think. I know what I'm about to do is going to hurt everyone, it's going to hurt me. Physically of course. But I can't....can't keep going like this.

Emily pulls up to the bridge and another car is there. Ugh, these people. I watch as they get out of the car. I open the door and look at Emily. Fear is in her eyes. "Em, they're just friends. Just go on home," I tell her. She looks over at me and nods. I get out of the car and slam the door shut. I walk over to the two guys.

"You showed up," The blond sounded surprised.

"I told you, I want to be done," I tell them. The black haired guy points behind me.

"Who's she?" He questions. I turn around and see Emily still there.

"Nobody, just someone who's dropping me off," I tell them and motion Emily to leave. Emily starts the car and turns around. I turn back around and the two look at me.

"Call whoever and then we'll start," the dark haired man said. I nodded and the blond handed me a phone. I immediately typed in Chloe's number. It rang and rang. Then I knew she hit decline. I sigh and try again. She hit decline once again. This time I left a voice message. And when I was right in the middle of it I felt myself punched straight in the stomach. I bend over and feel another punch to my face. I fall to the ground and the phone flies out of my hands. "Wh-What are u-" I couldn't finish feeling them begin to kick me everywhere. Their main focus was my stomach.

"Joseph hand me the rod," one of them said. I tried to get up, but got pushed down and pinned down. "Hold her up." I feel my body pulled from the ground and my arms held behind my back. I watched as he swung the rod and hit me straight into the stomach. I cry out in pain. He gives it a minute then swings once again. He does this 5 more times. He stops swinging and the man behind me picks me up to my feet.

"Dave she's bleeding," Joseph's voice was in panic. I could feel it, but I didn't care. I felt so...weak. I feel my body dragged and then lifted over top of the bridge barrier. "I thought she wanted to jump herself."

"She wont be able to! Now push her! We got to go!" Dave's voice rang through my head. Joseph held onto me and came to the side of me. I met his eyes and felt tears well up in mine.

"I'm sorry," He whispered and pushed me. I screamed. I felt chills everywhere. I felt the wind knocked out of me but I kept screaming. I screamed out louder in pain feeling my knee hit something. I tried to reach for it but I couldn't. It hurt too much. Soon I hit the water and everything went to blackness....
