Lights, Camera, & Just Kiss

The day had come for the scene Marianne not only dreaded but was quite excited for it to unfold. She wouldn't dare kiss him on her own especially without his consent and there was no way she was ever going to ask. However, if the 'Kiss' was already scripted then she wouldn't have to worry about all the unessecary details. Though, she didn't want it to ruin one of the best friendships she ever had, she couldn't help but feel that way around him. It was ten o'clock and Marianne hadn't dared to sleep a wink the night before. Currently, she was getting ready for the camera in the makeup room with her Stylist Jeannie. She hated prepping for scenes, to be honest she just hated makeup altogether, but it was required to make you 'pop' on camera. Jeannie was currently working on her mascara when her friend Georgie walked into the dressing room.

"Hey girl, don't sweat this. You got this." She said "Besides you already have it easy because like MJ in the movie you already have feelings for Peter aka Tom."

"Not helping Georgie. I barely slept last night, I really don't need to think about it anymore because I am overthinking it." Marianne replied

"Ok, what do you want to talk about? Bunnys? Doughnuts?" Georgie said "Doughnuts are good, powdered sugar, glazed, pumpkin spice."

"Oh my gosh, you are way to obsessed with food." MJ said

"You know I am." She said "Haz even tried to make me pancakes the other day to impress me, but epically failed when he tried to flip it and ended up dropping it on the floor."

"Awe thats cute though."

"Depends if you were the one waiting for food and had to wait longer because you had to drive to McDonalds." Georgie replied

"All done." Jeannie said as she put the makeup brush down

"You look beautiful MJ." Georgie said

"Thank you."

"Girls, they need you on set. Time to go." The assistant director said as he ran into the room.

"Okay lets go." MJ said as she got up from the place she sat and walked onto set. She saw Tom almost the minute she stepped into the room. He was sporting his science pun t-shirt that said 'I lost an electron''Are you Positive' and he looked quite handsome as always. MJ walked over to the director, while Georgie went and stood by Haz where they would watch. The Directors put them into place and the scene began.

"Peter, you can't keep putting yourself in danger. What if one day you come back with a bullet, and you have to go to Aunt May to explain what happened?" Mary Jane said as she cleaned Peter Parker's wounds.

They currently sat in Mary Jane's room, it was two in the morning, like always MJ would clean his wounds after Peter did his late night errands aka Spider-Man to the rescue. Yes, MJ was the one of the only ones who knew about Peter's secret identity, and sometimes she wish she didn't. However, she was glad that she did because she loved Peter and wanted to help him the best she could. Even if that meant her being extremely tired in school the next morning.

"She won't find out, I'll be fine." He said

"Peter, I can't let you put yourself in this kind of danger." MJ said

"Why? I can do what I want MJ, you don't rule me. I need to save these people, I can't let another situation like Uncle Ben happen again." Peter said a bit louder as he stood up

"Peter it's not your responsibility!" MJ whisper-screamed

"Yes it is MJ! I wasn't given these powers to sit around and be a nerdy couch potato!" He shouted

"Shush! You will wake up my parents!" MJ said

"Why should I care? It's obvious you don't care about my feelings." He said

"Peter I do care! It's because I can't bare the thought of loosing you that I am saying this." MJ said

"Oh really why?" Peter said

"Because I Love You!!!" She blurted out a little louder than she wanted too. He looked a little shocked but you could tell he had a smirk on his face at the same time.

"You- you love me?" He asked

"Yes, crap I shouldn't have said that out loud." MJ stood up with her head in her hands

"I'm glad you did." He said "because I love you too."

"What?" MJ asked as he moved closer to her, but then she tripped.

"CUT!" The director shouted

"Sorry" MJ said as she collected herself and stood up. She fell over because she couldn't stand how close Tom was to her, it was like if he came any closer her insides would burst.

"Take it from the kiss." The director stated

MJ walked to Tom and awkwardly wrapped her arms around his neck, and then she looked away.

"For F***S SAKE JUST KISS!!" Georgie shouted

MJ tried to relax into his arms as he wrapped one around her waist, pulling her closer. They were barely an inch apart from their lips touching before MJ abruptly pulled away, untangling herself from Tom.

"I can't- I- I- I gotta go" she stuttered as she ran back to her trailer throwing her mic on the floor before sprinting.

Georgie was about to run after her until Haz placed an arm in front of her "Don't" he said "Sometimes too much overload can be bad, especially when you were the only one to go before. Let Tom go, he'll be the one she'll least expect."
