A Little Thiefshipping Idea

So, this is a story ending with no effing story. *Laugh* No idea what I'm gonna do with it, but I'll use it in something, so please don't use it yourself!

Also, I've suddenly noticed I haven't been writing about very happy things lately. Stories about people with mental health issues, terminal illnesses, oneshots with sad endings. . .Yea, that's weird, given what an awesome mood I've been in the past month.

His touch was hesitant, amethyst eyes seeming alive in the half-light. Bakura shook his head quietly, a warning not to say the words hanging heavy between them. But Marik spoke anyway, a forced, minuscule smile on his face.

"I'll wait," he said. "I'll still be here, waiting. Even if you never come back, I'm waiting."

Fake as smile was, his words were truth, a promise. The last promise. And then, Bakura knew, he had to go. But even though he had to leave, he had to never see Marik again, he had to be alone, he was happy.

Because Marik would be there, always waiting.
