Reunion and Confession

Lana's P.O.V.

It has been years since I saw him, I missed how we would wait until midnight to watch Lunala. It has also been years since we last battled each other. And when he left me forever, I didn't even say goodbye, and now here I am turning 18, all by myself. No family, no friends, and no Gladion.

"When will I ever kiss you?"

Those words managed to escape from my mouth

"When will you ever love me"

Then another one

"When will I be with someone"
"When will you return to me"
"When will I be in your arms again"
"When will we be more than friends"

Then I heard a knock on the door, I went downstairs to see who it was, when I saw who it was I almost cried "G-Gladion?" I asked as I touched his chest to see if he was real "It is you!" I said as I bursted into tears, I also pulled him into a hug, but he quickly broke apart (fan who thinks this is a lemon, please dont you dare think about the reason gladion broke apart) "I am not here for you, Lana" he said "wh-what?" I asked "I am here to battle you" he said "Gladion, i'm not that kind of person anymore, I dont battle anymore Gladion" I told him "Please Lana, its Lillie"
He said while grabbing my hand "Lillie? What happend to her" I questioned "She got hit by a car" he said, my heart shattered, my best friend, getting hit by a car "why did you say you wanted to battle me anyways? Battling wont help Lillie" I told him "yes it will, I figured that since your the champion you will have tons of money so thats why I challenged you" he said "Gladion, why didn't you just ask me to give you the money, here have this" I told him as I handed the money "oh, uhh... thanks Lana, I really appreciate it" he thanked, I also couldn't help but notice that the whole time we were talking he was blushing, maybe he was just hot, but the house was airconditioned, or maybe, no it can't be, he said he had a thing for someone else, so it can't be me, so I asked him "hey Gladion, before you leave, couldmI ask you something" I asked him "sure" he replied "why were you blushing a while ago" I questioned, instead of an answer, he quickly ran off, I didn't even get a chance to say bye.

Gladion's P.O.V.

"Oh no, she saw my blush, now she knows that I like her, ugh..... she'll hate me forever for that" I panicked as I pulled my hair to cover my eyes "why would I ever hate you Gladion" a sweet and concerned voice from my back spoke to me "L-Lana?!" I almost screamed those words "Why did you go here?" She asked me "I just panicked 'cause you saw me blushing while we were talking at your house, you just kinda changed alot since you were ten" I informed her "and why did you say you liked me?" She asked another question "well, I actually liked you ever since I first saw you" I informed her again "well, I actually liked you ever since I first saw you too" she confessed "you do?" I said in disbelief "of course I do" she truthfully told me, I smiled in disbelief and said "you, love a guy like me? Pfft, I dont belive it" I said "what's not to love, your awesome, great in battling, and your a loving and sweet guy" she confessed about why she liked me, I couldn't help but feel like I want to kiss her, and later on I couldn't help myself, so I kissed her, and she surprisingly kissed back.

We broke apart for air and the words that managed to escape from my mouth was "I love you."
