One night lead us to the mall where i ran into this guy that changed everything. It was a date for my friend and the guy she liked, but he had a friend with him, so needed me there. So maybe some would call it a blind date but to me i was not interested in a relationship. I wanted to be free to make big moves for my future. Little did i know the boy i seen was gonna be the one who made me aware of all of my past, present, and future.
For the first time since i walked out of that office i felt something good. I felt electric when he looked at me. He was nothing like i had ever been around before. When he spoke to me, all i could do was watch his mouth. Dying for him to just grab me and kiss me with his perfect lips. I was not disappointed when he did either. My whole body felt that first kiss and every other after that from my head to my toes. This was so new and yet he consumed my whole world with just the first meeting. I could not shake him. He completely shook me to the core. I knew that night he was they guy for me. I would have married him no questions asked that night or any chance i could get.
We dated for a little more than a year off and on. I was not perfect, neither was he. We were both broken and had horrific stories that led us to each other resulting in some crazy fights and some super emotional highs and lows. No matter what we went through good or bad he was everything to me, body, mind, and soul. We lived together growing so addicted to each other to a point of obsession and possessive behaviors from both of us. The love we shared was raw, beautiful, and so completely overwhelming to me. I was young and traumatized and he was my new drug. I needed him and i to have a future so i chose to go to school to better our future.
Little did i know i had a huge surprise as well as huge heartbreak coming.
I left for school on April 9th 2001 and the promise of a future was shared between the two of us. We had dreams of bigger things and made promises to each other.
