Its been a lot of months since that thing happened. Hmmm,siguro hindi months,pero siguro years,and I can still remember every detail of what happened....
FLASHBACK.FLASHBACK.FLASHBACK.
Naalala ko na,nakita ko sa scrapbook yung note sa loob. And this is what it stated.
“Will you be my girlfriend?”
I felt my heart was gonna burst kase it was so surprised. I was so shock sa time na yun. Tas si Migs,andun sa harap ko,still waiting for my answer,his smile was about to fade nung magsalita ako...
“Seryoso ka?” sabi ko
“Umm,of course! I dont have any hesitations. Ok na saken,the only missing piece left is your answer...” sabi niya
“Ui Migs,will you be mad if my answer will be...?” sabi ko,tas he cut what I was about to say
“Ummm,kung man yun ang desisyon mo,I’ll respect that. If you need more time to decide,then I’ll give you time...” sabi niya,tas ang serious ng look niya. Ang super? Haha.
“Ah...well my answer’s YES.” Sabi ko
“Ha ano? Will you repeat it?” sabi niya,his smile was so BIG na,as in parang ang saya. I can’t explain,parang lumaki yung mata niya. Ganun
“Yes,I can be your girlfriend!” sabi ko
“Talaga? Yesssssssssssssssss! Whoooooooooooo!” napasigaw siya as in,tas tumayo siya sa upuan niya,tas he hugged me tightly,of course,I hugged him back
“Thank you! Thank you! Promise,di kita iiwan,di kita sasaktan! Thank you talaga! Right now,Im the luckiest guy in the world kase I heard your SWEETEST YES!” sabi niya saken,tas he took a step away from me.
“Ano yun?” sabi niya
Nagvavibrate nun cellphone ko,tinignan ko nun. Tas dad was calling me
“Si dad,tinatawagan ako.” Sabi ko sa kanya.
“Talaga? Sagutin mo na.” Sabi niya
“Hello dad?” sabi ko
“Anak! Where are you now? It’s 10 pm na,your mom is so worried.” Sabi ni dad
“Ah,pauwi na po ako dad.” Sabi ko
“Good.Be home safely.” Sbi ni dad
Tas I turned off the phone,tinignan lang ako ni Migs. Tas he nodded,and took my hand
“I dont want your dad to be mad at you because of me,halika na,hatid na kita.” Sabi niya saken
“Ah,sige. Ui,thank you ah.” Sabi ko
“Yup.Your welcome.” Sabi niya saken
Tas ayun,hinatid niya na nun ako. After that time,the clock was ticking fast,from intramurals,to camping,to christmas programs,ganun.Syempre,Migs and I stayed strong. Actually,wala nga kaming naging problem na naencounter eh. It’s February 23 ngayon. And this time,hinihintay ko si Migs sa may stone table sa garden...6 months na kami ni Migs...Ang tagal na noh? Haha. Pero nung hinhintay ko si Migs,nakita ko nun si Jaco
