"Excuse me...?"

"...Natsuo..." A hand slammed on his desk before he could get another word out. Like he thought, Mukuro wasn't taking this well - like he would, he just saw her yesterday and even reported having a bad feeling. Tsuna himself felt it too but decided to ignore it - the worst decision he's made, he admits that.

"What did I say, Vongola? Didn't I mention letting her go so easily was a mistake!? At the very least you could have sent one of your precious guardians with her! But is she not worth it like Sasagawa Kyoko and Miura Haru are? Despicable, the entire mafia as I thought! I will not let this 'mistake' of yours ever escape you." It's been a while since Tsuna had last heard Mukuro so livid. No, it was possibly more than that. He seemed to want to hack Tsuna up right then and there, pure death in his eyes and poison in his voice.

Perhaps he should count himself lucky that the mist didn't explode and start a war immediately. It was possible that he held a little hope for her yet; dwindling hope, but even Tsuna felt that it was still possible. She could be alive somewhere, recovering, or even being a prisoner would be better than death.

Mukuro had a point and it would haunt him until they found out more. Depending on that, it would continue to pierce him; sending escorts for Haru and Kyoko but not for Natsuo. Mukuro could have gone back with her and protected her, heck, he could have even stayed in Japan for a while.

But why didn't he do that? He didn't know why. Even if it wasn't Mukuro, Hibari could have gone.

Speaking of - where was that cloud guardian of his?

Hibari knew something was a little off when his reports came in. Multiple small families coming together and devising some kind of frail attack. All seemed to be guests from the party as well.

A little bit a research later and he had his answer; they all contained women completely obsessed with that pineapple. While going and wiping each little family out would be child's play, he'd rather prepare himself for the worst. That, and it wasn't like he had permission; he didn't know the relationships of those families either. A pain, but he'll just have to wait before executing judgement.

What they didn't know, Hibari was actually quite close to the woman they were skulking around devising plans to kill; so he wasn't alright with just 'letting it happen'. The Decimo probably wouldn't listen, and Hibari would rather take care of it himself, so he did just that.

Therefore, on the day of her departure he had already sneaked onto the plane; hidden in plain sight - rather, not hidden at all. If he was going to go on a rampage destroying all these families, might as well do it all in one go.

Natsuo didn't seem very surprised to see him there. She also spoke very casually about the assassination attempt, which she supposed would happen on the plane at some point.

It seems he underestimated plane crashes though. He could still move, and Natsuo wasn't a burden either. At least in mobility. She was conscious and checking the cockpit - in which the pilots were lifeless, having died on collision.

She managed to bandage Hibari's wounds before moving onto her lighter ones. She supposed that was only so because Hibari had shielded her and protected her from the shrapnel and impact.

For such a horrific crash, they both came out with minimal injuries - likely due to Hibari's flames.

Problem was, they had no clue where they were, and if they were going to be attacked further.

The gunshots and shouts answered that question quickly.

Natsuo was pushed back inside the plane while Hibari, with a dark glint in his eye, ran off to dispose of the enemy.
