I only wish this title was more romantic, it being ironic that it is a French word. (There is no English word) But the meaning behind this word is exactly the kind of romanticism you would expect from the French.
"Sillage; (from French) - a veil of scent that a person leaves behind when walking or when you enter a lift and smell what someone before you had left."
This is what it felt like-loving him. His affection rushed through and past me, leaving the sillage. The words not spoken, the memories, desire and the pain. And I know like sillage, if I do not write this down the scent will soon fade-not forgotten just unreachable and indescribable. So I give you, the sillage of us.
