Louise’s POV
As an 18 year old in the entertainment industry it’s tough but it’s all worth it when I go out and perform to my fans and see the smile they have spread across their face when I begin to sing. But it’s time for a new adventure.
I have always wanted to act but nothing ever popped up for me, until now where I have finally got a role in a film. Not just any film may I add, a film with A list stars. I am so excited to start working on the film in L.A. That’s where I am heading now. Just an 11 hour flight from my hometown, London to my new home in L.A.

3 Days Later
I’ve been in L.A for a couple of days staying in my rented apartment before we start filming but today is the day. I can’t believe I am finally able to act for a job. This is so exciting, yet terrifying at the same time. All I can think of while looking out the cars tinted window on the way to set is that I’m going to screw up my lines, trip over or embarrass myself in some way, shape or form. That would be disastrous. But underneath all these nerves I’ve got there is still a strong undercurrent of excitement.
The car comes to a stop and my assistant Nicki turns to me and says “Ready kiddo?” whilst nudging my shoulder. Nicki is like a big sister to me. She always knows what to say and how to comfort me when I’m feeling nervous.
“I suppose” I reply nervously as Jake my security guard opens my door. “Here goes nothing” I think to myself as I step onto set for the first time.
Mark, the guy who is in control of taking care of all the actors walks me to my trailer where I then get my hair and make-up done for my first scene.
Its five minutes before I’m due on set so I go to the bathroom to calm myself down and get a bit of belief in myself instead of in front of all my team. I stare at the mirror before me and look right into by deep dark brown eyes telling myself that I can do it and I’m there for a reason and to not doubt myself.
I’m pulled out of my thoughts when Mark knocks on my trailer door saying they need me on set. This is it – showtime.
“Louise!” Maddie exclaims and runs to me and gives me a hug when I get on set.
“Hey Maddie” I giggle and return her hug. Maddie and I got on really well when we first met at the script reading and the few rehearsals we had. She’s a really great girl who is hilarious and acts more mature than the 12 year old she actually is.
“I missed you Louise” Maddie says as we pull out of the hug.
“aw I missed you too” I say before I was interrupted
“Sorry to break up this reunion girls but we have a movie to film” the director jokes. We laugh and head to our starting positions and begin to act.

It’s been a long but extremely fun day today I think to myself before landing on my bed and falling straight to sleep but not before I set my alarm for work tomorrow.
