Louise’s POV
We’ve been filming for just over a week now and I am having so much fun. Not only do I get to portray a character like myself in a way, as in she’s bisexual. Oh yeah, didn’t I mention that. Anyways my character is also very different to me in so many ways as in that her family didn’t support her when they found out about her sexuality and abused her before throwing her out of the house and their lives. But my character keeps coming back to see her little sister, played by Maddie, who doesn’t care about her sexual orientation but just wants her big sister home and safe.
This storyline is so different from my situation. When I came out as being bisexual two years ago to my parents they were so supportive and understanding. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better result.
I have spent pretty much all my hours on the studio lot this week because when I’m not needed for a scene I’ll go and hang out with Maddie and skate around the lot. That seems to be our thing.
I even see Maddie’s parents, Dianna and Eddie every day because they stay on set to keep an eye on Maddie as she’s only 12. They are both so loving and have a great sense of humour which is great cause I’m able to have a laugh with them and not worry if a joke I say is age appropriate like I have to do when I’m around Maddie.
I have to say that I’m really comfortable in front of them and not my awkward usual self like I was when I first met them. I don’t know what it is but when I meet new people I get really awkward and embarrassing. It was the same when I met Maddie’s eldest sister Dallas the other day. That was awful.
FLASHBACK
Me and Maddie were at the studios canteen having something to eat. I was having a very full burrito whilst Maddie had a sandwich. I was making a mess and Maddie was giggling at me when a girl that looked as if she was in her mid-twenties walked up to the table and gave Maddie a hug. She then looked at me and asked Maddie to introduce us.
“Oh yeah Dallas, this is Louise my co-star on the film. Louise this is Dallas my big sis” she said smiling at us both.
“Hey nice to meet you” Dallas said smirking at me. Crap. She knew I can’t reply properly with my mouth full of food. Before I could even swallow my food I spoke, it was too late.
“Hmm nicmph uh muh tuh” I said, sending Dallas and Maddie into fit of laughter. Oh god, well done Louise you’ve managed to be awkward yet again when meeting someone. I eventually swallowed my food and spoke again.
“Well that was embarrassing. I meant to say ‘Hey nice to meet you too’ but that failed.” I said as Dallas and Maddie calmed down from their laughing fit.
END FLASHBACK
Maddie and I were currently skating round the studio lot on our Penny boards whilst on our lunch break that lasted a couple of hours. Dianna, Eddie and Dallas were all on set today and were making us lunch on a portable BBQ as it was such a beautiful day in L.A.I was looking forward to it a lot cause back home in England we don’t get much opportunity for BBQ’s as the weather is that poor.
Maddie skated past me whilst giving me a high five and laughing and then headed down past her family on the lot when a white Mercedes-Benz SL550 parked up near where we were having the BBQ and Maddie screamed
“DEMI!!!”
The sleek white car door opened and a girl with an amazing set of tanned toned legs emerged and stood outside her car door and was immediately embraced by Maddie. Thankfully I wasn’t on my board as I’m sure I would’ve fallen off at the sight of the most gorgeous person I’ve ever laid eyes on. She had a pair of six inch black heels on, black tailored shorts with a white plunging V-neck tucked into them which was accompanied by a black tight fitting blazer over the top. My eyes trailed up her amazingly curvaceous body to her face. Her skin looked so soft and smooth and her plump lips were coated in a luscious bright red lipstick. Her eyes were hidden behind a pair of ray bans which were framed by long flowing brown hair which on one side was shaved. I’m not sure this girl can get any hotter, I thought to myself.
