I walked down the hallway, multiple eyes on me. They are all wondering where I have been the last few weeks, they are curious- it doesn't mean they care.
I was with my mom. She's in a coma. I'm lucky I'm not, oh how I wish I'd have been in the car too, instead of having to deal with all the bullshit questions.
I get to my locker, put in the combination, and slam it open.
First lesson of the day: Biology. I sigh as the bell rings for first period, and head to class.

I sit down in my usual place, next to Kevin. If I'm honest he freaks me out, the way he stares at me from across the class, while I walk over to my seat, really terrifies me. But if I'm also being honest- I find him fascinating.
The teacher rambles on at the front of the class about the assignment, I pay minimal attention as I look at the board behind her as from the corner of my eye I notice he's staring at me again.
I turn to him, making eye contact, I'm tempted to look away- from those dark brown pits of despair.
But I don't. I finally pluck up the courage to whisper.
"Do we have a problem?"
He blinks, looking down at the table momentarily and licking his lips slightly.
"Not at all." He replies, smirking. Bringing his eyes to flicker over my breasts and up to my eyes again.
"Then why do you keep staring at me?" I hiss.
He sits back in his seat and ponders this for a moment.
He leans over to my ear, his hot breath on my neck, voice deep and raspy.
"I stare at all my prettiest positions"
He puts emphasis on the my, implying that I belong to him. A shiver runs down my spine.
I look at him puzzled and scoot away as the teacher brings us over a sheet of paper.
"I guess we are partners then" I half ask.
"Hmm" he nods.
I take out my pen and write down our names, I never really know how to spell Kevin's last name.
Y/n y/l/n
Kevin katchudorian
He glances down at the paper.
"That's not how you spell it" he says agitated.
"Oh, however you spell it then" I scribble it out and hand him the pen. He laughs.
