Credence Barebone X reader
Also note that I'm trying to base this before Credence met Graves,as in this story you have known credence for a longer time.

Y/n PoV
He stands at my doorstep in the rain, tears running down his cheeks.
"Credence, oh my goodness, come in" I say softly. He shuffled into the hall awkwardly and I lead him to the couch.
I sit next to him and sigh.
"She did again, didn't she?" I tread carefully as I ask him this.
He whimpers as he nods his head. I tenderly take his wrist, he winces at the touch.
I hover my hand over his and move it back fourth ,till the cuts and bruising has vanished from both hands.

Credence's PoV

Y/n is so beautiful. Her magic scared me at first although now I am accustomed to her gifts that she's said she'll teach me.
I wish I could tell her how much she means to me. But what if I'm rejected? I don't think I could handle loosing her.
I lay my head on y/n's shoulder. It's comforting as she trails a hand through my hair and onto my shoulder, embracing me into a warm hug. I completely melt whenever she's near me. She hums gently, a beautiful melody, that I have heard before but it is as if I am hearing it for the first time.
I love y/n. I love her smile, and his she can enchant it onto other people's faces without the use of magic. I love her kind nature and heart, I'd have surely been lost without.
I love her knowledge and smarts, it keeps the candle on in the night, and me away from the dark.
She is my light in the darkest hour.
