Chapter 7

As I walked back inside I put Becker's leash on the hook and walked upstairs ignoring my mothers calls for me.

I changed into my black shorts and blue spaghetti strap tank and hopped into bed. I grabbed my phone quickly and got on netflix, and started to watch my favorite show, dance academy, and then slowly fell asleep.

:BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP: my alarm clock blared. I turned it off and walked to the bathroom, hopped into the shower and quickly washed my hair. I had the radio playing when all the sudden I heard a knock on my window. Um well that's a bit unusual..... When I got over and checked it. It was Luke. I opened the window a certain way so he couldn't get in. "Luke, I think you should go because last night, you made it very clear that you wanted nothing to do with me." I said with a blank expression. "Listen Sophie, I...." He stopped. "No, your right, I should go. Um, I'll see you later." He finally finished and then ran off. I shrugged it off and went back to getting ready.

I put on a Nirvana shirt, some ripped dark blue skinny jeans, a dark blue beanie, and my light blue converse. Then I applied some makeup starting with some foundation, then did a smoky eyeshadow color, then mascara, and finally some blush.

I grabbed my curling iron with an hour and a half to spair and curled away my dirty blonde, waist length hair. When I was about halfway done there was a knock on my door. "Come in!" I yelled. My mom walked in and had a feeling she was gonna talk about the divorce. She sat on my bed and sighed. Then she started. "Sophie, listen. I know you are very upset about your father and I but the truth is, money wasnt the only problem. You and your brother both never knew this but, your father drank behind your guys back. Not just one or two drinks, like he was a full on drunk and I didn't want you guys to know because I didn't want you guys to be thinking you had an alcoholic father and then that screw up your life here. Also he..... um well there was a fight we had while you and your brother were away with grandma that week about a month ago, and I went over to Anna's house and in the mean time, he got a girlfriend. So then we originally planned for divorce but never actually did anything. Well just as you and your brother both were in your new rooms unpacking everything, his phone rang. He wasn't around and the caller said Clara. So I answered it and she must of thought I was him because she said, ''Can't wait to see you tonight, don't tell your wife!" Then I went up and told him about it and then the next day we started arguing even more and I finally said get out I want a divorce and I want you out." I sat there in shock. My father was a drinker and he cheated on my mom twice.

I decided to get to school early so I could talk to cameron.

I got in my car, and drove to school. I saw cameron out front and ran up to him and hugged him. I then started blubbering "Cameron! M-My dad h-he cheated on my m-mom and he was and alcoholic a-and that's why they divorced!" "Woah woah woah, calm down, take a deep breath and then tell me." He said. So I took a very breaths and told him the whole story.

"Oh. My. God. I can't believe he would do something like that!" he exclaimed. "Yea. Hey um I got to go apologise to someone. I'll catch up with ya later." I said when I saw Luke.

I ran over to him, he looked at me with a worried expression. "Luke, I'm sorry. can we start over possibly?" I exclaimed hopefully. "Ok. Hi I'm Luke Hemmings, the boy who will steal your heart." he softly said. "Hi. I'm Sophie, the girl who might give it to you." I smirked.

A/N: hey guys so I probably won't be updating till after July 7th because I am going on a vacation to Texas! and it's a trip to see my fam so I won't be updating and so yea.
