Chapter 5

"Go on a date with me". Luke said. I coughed, almost choking. "Excuse me?!" I asked like he just asked me to bomb the school. "Yea, go out with me and I will help you." He said smirking. "Well then screw it, if your going to make me do that then screw the whole thing and I'll find someone else to help me!" I said storming off. I heard him yelling my name out in the distance but I just kept walking and walking and trying to get to Cameron so we could just ditch cause I really didn't wanna be anywhere near Luke right now. I mean you can't just force someone to go out with you like pick something different cause that's just plain sick!

"Cameron, come on, we have to go now." I told him. "Wait, why?" He asked confused. "Because I need to stay as far away from Luke as possible right now and you probably want to be far away from Alle to. Am I right?" I asked. "Yea, let's go. Wait what did Luke do to you?" He asked clentching his fists and eyes now filled with caution and anger. "I'll tell you later." I said dragging him to his car.

As we pulled up to my house I was kind of puzzled. "Why aren't we going to your house?" I asked. "Listen, I think I just need some alone time right now I mean I was just cheated on." He said a bit harshly. "Oh." Was all I said. "By the way Luke, I asked him to help me get revenge on Alle but he said he would do it if a would go out with him." I said quickly before leaving. "He did what?" Cameron asked pulling me back and looking into my eyes with anger. "Please tell me you said no." He said trying not to lose his cool. "Of course I said no!" I yelled. "I don't want you going around him anymore. Also, don't meddle in my love life." he said pretty pissed with me. "Screw you Cameron! I was just trying to help!" I yelled running into my house. "Well maybe I don't want nor do I need your help!" he yelled. "Fine! I don't need you anyways!" I shouted back and slammed the door.

I decided I was pretty damn hungry and ordered pizza. as soon as my doorbell rang, I went to go grab my wallet and went to the front door. "Luke?" I asked staring at the blonde hair boy. "Oh hey." he said smirking. "Here's your pizza...'' He said awkwardly handing it to me. "Um, listen I'm sorry about earlier, I shouldn't have asked you for that." he said shyly. "Luke, it's ok. Plus I don't need help anymore, Cameron and I kind of aren't friends anymore..." I said while staring at the ground. "Was I the cause of it?" He asked. "No." I lied. "He was just being a jerk and changed really since we were kids." I said mentally slapping myself for saying that, of course he changed! everyone does! "Oh." was all he said. There was a long awkward silence before he said something," Can we start over?" He asked. "What?" I asked shocked he even asked that. "Can we like start over, become friends, not hate each other?" He asked once more. "Well nothing can really screw my life up much anymore really... so sure." I said. "Thank you Sophie! I promise you won't regret it!" He said hugging me. "ok I gotta go, see ya tomorrow!" he said running off to his car.

Dad. shit! I forgot about that! I ran upstairs to go find him. Once I reached my parents room I found him sitting there. I ran over to him and bear hugged him. "I love you daddy!" I said crying into his chest. "I live you to baby girl." he said trying to comfort me. "Honey, I gotta go. But I promise I will keep in touch with you ok?" He said. "Yea." I replied. With that he got up walked downstairs and in a matter if minutes, my daddy was gone.
