I woke up the next day to the anoying beeping of an alarm clock. I reached over and turned it off. I was still in Stephano's bed, but only becuase he lacked the guts to talk to me after our little argument.

I got out of bed and rummaged through my closet. I wanted to look okay for my first day at a new school. It was difficult becuase I wanted to look cute while not looking like an attention whore. Finally I decided on wearing a white lace skater skirt and a colorful aztec crop top, allowing my belly button ring to be seen. I straightened my hair and put on my makeup, which consisted of eyeliner and mascara. I put on some white keds to finish my outfit. I looked pretty good.

I walked downstairs to get something to eat. Erica was allready in the kitchen, making bacon. My stomach churned at the thought of eating, so I decided to skip breakfast.

"Don't you want something to eat honey?" Erica asked me.

"No, I'll get something on the way" I lied.

"Okay then!" Erica responded. Then I remembered that I need directions to get to school.

"Hey Erica, could you tell me how to get to the school from here?" I asked.

"It's too far to walk honey, I'll ask Stephano to give you a ride. He picks up other people on the way, so it will be a great opportunity to make friends!" She smiled.

Crap! I thought to myself. Stephano chose that moment to walk into the kitchen. His eyes widened slightly when he saw me, but he quickly regained his composure.

"Stephano dear will you drive Amber to school?" Erica asked. Stephano looked anoyed.

"Do I have to?" Stephano asked.

"Yeah does he have to?" I asked with a pleading look. Stephano looked at me and smirked, "Well I guess I can fit it into my schedule" he said, after realizing that it will bother me if he does.

I shot him a venomous glare before we walked out.

"Oh, make sure Amber gets something to eat on the way Stephano!" Erica shouted from the kitchen." Stephano glanced at me from the side.

"I will mom!" He shouted back.

The car ride was tense and akward.

We stopped at a house soon. A boy with Dirty blond hair and a football bag came out. Him and Stephano did the whole bro shake thing, then he got in the back.

"Yo, Stephano! Who's the chick?" He asked. Stephano gave an exasperated sigh.

"This is Amber." he stated. I felt the guy checking me out.

"I'm Cole" he finally said, "Hey, you're pretty hot do you have a boyfriend? he asked. I blushed.

"No", I answered. Then looked away. Stephano was fake puking in the front seat.

"Ew, why the hell would you want to go out with that?!" Stephano questioned with a disgusted look on his face. Well that hurt. I don't really care what he thinks, but if he thinks I'm ugly then everybody else will too. I thought with a frown.

Cole just laughed. We picked up a couple more people. On the way to school. Another boy named Devon, and a gorgeous red haired girl named Gina.

I knew I should be making friends, but the only thing I could think of was what everybody at my new school would think of me. Hell, I don't think I could make friends even if Stephano wasn't there to ruin my reputation all over again; I'm not really good at talking to people that I don't know.
