Separation

"But this will be the end of always and forever." Vincent spoke.
"You expect us to go separate ways?! Never to see each other again?!" Rebekah practically yelled.
"It's the only way to trap the Hollow." Vincent said.

"Elijah! You of all know how it feels to be separated from the only people who truly know you." Rebekah argued.
Elijah sighed and looked across to you. He may love you truly and you may love him but in this moment he was equally as worried about losing you as his family.
"I need a moment." Elijah stated. "Alone with Y/N." He finished.
You looked up from the floor as he spoke your name. Klaus and Rebekah left the room willingly to allow your time together.

"Y/N, if this goes through-" Elijah started.
"I know." You cut him off. "You'll leave your family... And me-" This time he cut you off.
"Y/N, that is not correct. You can come with me." He told you. You looked at his face but not into his eyes.
"But Elijah, I have to consider more than this." You told him. He knew deep down there was more than just him to consider for you. He would do anything to protect Hope and be with you, but you had to consider Rebekah.
"Rebekah." You said. "Every time she left, it hurt me so much, Elijah. She's like my sister. She has been for so many years, before I even realised I loved you." You confessed.
"I know she is. You want to go with her?" Elijah said although it sounded like a question.
"I don't know, Elijah." You said as you began to pace the room. "I...I have the choice of living the fun life with Rebekah and never having to miss her again or... Or I can go with you and live the life I wanted..." You trailed off.
"The life you wanted?" Elijah asked. He knew of your love for each other but not of what you wanted.

Rebekah walked into the room.
"Y/N, I love you like you were born my sister but you should go with Elijah." She told you honestly.
"But even though there is a life I want with Elijah, I can not have it." You stated. "Even if we went off together to settle down and love each other more. Getting married." You turned to Elijah. "If that's what you want." You then looked back at Rebekah. "I couldn't have kids. We both know I want them. I always considered adoption but having my own is something I came to terms with." You explained all this so quickly as tears began spilling over your eyes.
"Coming with me would allow you to have fun, perhaps find someone to love and have kids with." Rebekah said. She finally understood your decision and so did Elijah.
"Can I follow my heart? Or should I listen to my head too?" You asked, looking between the two. "And then there's you, Elijah. Do you want to live a life with me?" You asked him.
Elijah opened his mouth to speak but no words came out.
"There. You made the decision for me." You said before leaving the room you were currently in.

You were present as Kol arrived and Vincent began the spell. You still had no idea what to do. You so greatly wanted to go with Elijah but so far, he had made no effort to tell you to and therefore you were thinking of going with Rebekah.

As the blue light rose above Hope, it spilt into four, going into each mikealson vampire. A few tears fell from your eyes.
"Go now!" Vincent yelled.
Kol speed off and Rebekah next then Elijah.
As Klaus saw his daughter safe, he to sped away.
Freya had not known your presence but as you fell you your knees in tears at the back of the room, she ran to your side. Vincent and Hayley looking back at you together.

"They're gone, Freya." You cried. Freya held you as you cried. Marcel had gone to live with Rebekah in New York and you had no idea where Elijah had gone. Hope and Hayley were happy in Mystic Falls and you assumed Klaus to be happy as well where ever he went to. However, you were the only one not happy, left alone in New Orleans until your witch days end.

Marcel hid a giant secret from you. Even if you found Elijah, even if you went to him, he wouldn't know who you are. He will have forgotten all the memories of you, his family and ALWAYS and FOREVER...
