Chapter 15 -Breaking-

Yewon's pov~

I sigh, looking out the window. Another boring day in the school. Wonder when will I get to graduate. I look at Yurae beside me and surprisingly she's asleep. The teacher is absent, no wonder she's sleeping.
"Hey, Yewon."
I turn my head to the owner of the voice.
"Oh, Vernon." I plastered a smile.

"How's your dad?" He asked while taking a chair and put it infront of my table.
"Hmm..still the same, Vernon. Thanks for asking, though." I replied. Honestly, I think I've become much comfortable with him. He's so friendly and open-minded. So I don't mind telling him my problems. But at limits. And I don't like telling him my problems and Yoongi oppa. I just don't feel right about it.

"So, are you free this Saturday?" He asked.
I smiled in confuse. "Umm I'm not sure since I had to take care of my dad."
He pout. "I thought I could spend my time studying with you since you're a braniac. Maybe you could teach me something that I don't know. But since you aren't free that time, I guess it's a no?"
I started to feeling guilty that he actually wanted to study with me so that I could teach him. I sigh for awhile, trying to think how to solve this problem.

"Umm.. you don't mind right to come by my house? If you are okay, I guess we are able to study together." I said and he responded with his eyes widened.
"What? In your house? Seriously?!" He asked, more like yelling that it hurt my ears.
"I'm sorry. I don't mind to stay in your house but wouldn't it be awkward for you and me? I actually thought of studying OUTSIDE the house. You know, in a cafe or somewhere else."

I laughed. "Why would we be awkward with each other? We are friends. Furthermore, we are just studying."
He curved a small smile. "You're right. But are you sure it's not bothering you?"
I shook while smiling, showing that I was serious with what I said.
"Okay. Thanks so much, Yewon. You're the best."

*saturday* *At Yewon's house*

"Who is this?"

I smiled to my dad. "Daddy, this is Vernon. Vernon, this is my dad."
My dad smiled broadly. "Nice to meet you son. So you are my daughter's boyfriend?"
I almost choked by the last words.
Vernon smiled. "Would be nice if it's real."
I eyed Vernon instensely but he just laughed his ass off. "Daddy, no. He's my friend. That's all."

My dad nodded and I waste no time bringing Vernon to the living room upstairs.
"So we are going to study here. I'm gonna take my stuffs in my room. Put your beg anywhere. Make yourself comfortable."

I walked out from my room after taking my books and stuff. "So what subject should we start first?" I asked straightly.
"Math maybe?" He answered.
"Math it is."

A few hours later, I take a break by making lunch as it's already 2 pm.
I walk into the kitchen and start taking out the cooking appliances.
Suddenly, I heard the door bell ringing.
I was about to open the door but my dad stop me. "I will open it."
"But you're on a wheelchair daddy. Are you sure?" I asked, worrying about his safety.
He just give a slightly nod and I go back to continue my cooking.

Yoongi's pov~

This time I'm gonna propose Yewon. Eventhough she's still climbing for graduating. No more waiting. Don't be scared Yoongi.
You just need to get her dad's trust.
I ring the door bell for the second time.
And finally it opens and her dad appear. Which make me feel uncomfortable plus nervous. What if he refuse to let me in?

Surpisingly, he let me in with the most sincere smile he'd ever gave me.
I was confused at the same time. What is happening?
"Where is Yewon?" I asked obediently.

"Yewon! Are you not done yet?"

I was surprised when I heard a man's voice . Wait, since when Yewon had a brother?
My eyes widened as I saw Vernon standing at the stairs stiffly, watching me in shocked.
I gritted my teeth. How the heck he got his ass in this house? "What is he doing here?" I asked in a bland voice which actually I'm super annoyed by his appearance.
"Oh, Yewon invited him. I'm glad you're here, Yoongi. Because that boy over there is my future son-in-law."

I froze. What? What did I heard? I think I mistaken that annoying guy as his future son-in-law? So I chuckled, realising at how deaf I was. "Why did you laughed? I was serious. He's going to be my son-in-law."
I felt at how weak my legs were. What? What?! How could Yewon do this to me? Isn't she the one who loved me at first? How could she turn her back to me this quickly?
I look at Vernon who is now looking at me as well but still shocked. May be because of what Yewon's dad had said to me.

"Let's be straight. I don't want you to keep bothering her. This soon-to-be marriage between him and Yewon is a secret. Don't you dare to tell her."
Holy. I was wrong. Yewon didn't know anything bout this. Yewon still loved me. I knew it.

"She don't know anything about this?" I was really mad about how jerk Yewon's dad is. How could he matched his daughter to someone that she doesn't love?
He laughed evilly.
"So what? I'm his daddy and obviously she will obey what I command. If you do, I'm gonna make sure that she'll never gonna meet you ever again."
I felt like a knife stammed in my heart. How could he do this to his own daughter?

"Daddy, food's ready!"

I found Yewon stopped as she saw me.
My heart instantly crying that she's gonna get throught this.
"Yoongi oppa?" She smiled widely, showing how happy she was to see me. But it only made my heart shattered to pieces.
Knowing that I must leave her is tearing my heart apart.
Yewon's dad eyed me with an intense glare made me feeling lose. I had to obey him.

Yewon put a tray of foods and drinks on the table and heading towards me.
I took a deep breath silently and eyed her coldly. "Oppa, what are you doing here?"
I had to make her believe that I started to hate her. So that I can always meet her someday.

"Oppa?" Her smile vanished as I keep on staring at her blankly cold.
"I'm not your oppa. I would like to stop this relationship. And I hope you stop loving me. Because I don't love you anymore."
She was really shocked. "Why-why?"
"Just because I don't love you anymore. That's all. And if you want to know, I'd never even loved you back then. It was just an act so that my mom won't pester on loving you again."

I could see tears started fills her eyes, which breaking my heart so much. I can't take this anymore! Can I run now? My heart ache watching her tears running down her cheeks. "How could you? So it was all a lie? The things you've said to me before? That you promised to stay with me forever?"
She cried out.

I was speechless. Can I shout that I still love her? Those words wasn't a lie! I meant it!
"Yes, Yewon. It was all a lie."
She punch my chest hard and run upstairs.
I saw her dad smirked. "That's a good lie, Yoongi. For once I think you are useful. So please excuse yourself." He said proudly.
Vernon came towards me and smirked. Goddmanit wish I can punch this face.
"Looks like I won this game," he whispered.

I clenched my teeth. I just zipped my mouth and got out from the house. As I got in my car, I break down out loud. I just hurted her! The person whom I loved with all my heart!
I'm sorry, Kim Yewon.

Even if you're gonna forget me, I will always place you in my heart. Only one.
