Vanessa's POV

I was welcomed first thing in the morning when I reached the school gates, by an annoyed-faced-Molly, which only got even worse when she saw me. She started making her way towards me ,when -as usual- I feel Austin and Emily tense up hearing her heels clucking on the floor beneath her- poor floor.

I was so glad when she just passed by me without any rude comments from her. But as if she can read my mind, she turns around to look at me staright, making me notice her fake lashes and the fifteen-layers of lipgloss she've put,  "Well hello there, the very unwelcomed student is back, isn't that right, Simons?"She said in her fake British accent. And before any of us could reply, she countinous to blabber; " And as usual, you'll see me rising as the most beautiful, talented girl in West Ridge. And you, as normal, wishing that you had at least one of my beautiful features, the only thing you can ever do is scribble with pencils and colours on a paper and call it a masterpeice; honey do you know where it ends up? In the dustbin, where it belongs. Where all of you belong."

Austin had his both hands in fists ready to punch her in the face, while Emily on the other hand was ready pull Molly's hair off- have I ever mentioned that Emily can be the female version of Jhon Cena sometimes? No- well that was a fun fact!

I tapped them both on their backs to reassure them that I've got things in hand, and they eased down. I went up to Molly straight faced, my hair falling on my shoulders and my back carelessly, I looked into her icy blue eyes- they represent it all; ice, cold-hearted, heartless and rude.
"I think you've missed something important about me Anderson: ignore you like I always do because you're just like an ant walking around in my life." Then I just walked away with my two besties on my sides, leaving a speachless Molly behind us.

Just then, I see him, the one and only person I've always tried to forget, it's the boy I've admired from afar; Marcus Parsons. I feel my stomach tingle and my knees feel weak at the sight if him. Here is he, standing beautifully along with his friends. Emily pulls me in a side-hug and Austin holds my hand tightly and we stayed in comforting silence until we reached Maths; thank god they're both in my class.

-----------

Once I reach home, I climb up the stairs and once I reach my room, I fall on my bed face-first. Random adjectives pop in my head which describes my bed; cozy, comfy, fresh. My thoughts are interrupted when I hear footsteps coming near my room, I think of Marcus; the tall, handsome, kind Marcus. He's all I can think of at the moment.
The door proves me wrong when it swings open and there stands two grinning boys, Justin and Austin.

Oh crap! I've totally forgot he was coming. Ugh, I really need to take a shower.

Before I can continue with my thoughts, I was struck by the two boys hugging me to death. Just until Justin exclaims: "Ew Nessa, you stink!"
"Ah well, good boy Justin, you have a good smelling sense! Now if you two excuse me to take a shower so I can welcome Mrs and Mr Cahill downstairs." And I just ran to the bathroom.

After a short but refreshing bath, I decide to go with ripped black jeans with a maroon crop-top, and after drying my hair, I just put it back in a high ponytail. I ran downstairs in a hurry to welcome Mr and Mrs Cahill.

"Well hello there!" Mrs Cahill gave me a warm hug that somehow reminds me of mom's hug. Mrs Cahill is a woman with many talents, and surely one of them is painting; she's like my role model in art- right after my art teacher, Ms. McAllister.
I moved to Mr Cahill and welcomed him too. Right then, my favorite call comes from my mom, "DINNER TIME EVERYONE!"

Austin, Justin and I made a race to the dining table and as usual, Austin reaches first, me second, and lastly Justin. Austin sticks his tongue out at us and sits down, so do I but not before Justin pouts and stomps his way to his chair.

Austin and I had an argument about who's better, Zayn Malik or Justin Bieber. Austin has a weird obsession with JB's songs. He've met him in real life back in London, where he's from. Austin is fully British, while me, on the other hand, half-British half-American (British mom and an American dad). We've moved here in New York since I was 9 years old,  because of my dad's work. I do have an American accent, with some cracking British in between.

After eating a deliciously amazing meal of Pasta with white sauce and grilled chicken with garlic and mushrooms- which is my favorite; my mom served her amazing strawberry cheesecake.
My mouth waters at the thought of it.

I hug Austin and his parents goodbye and kiss my parents and my little brother goodnight, then I quickly head up to my room and change into my comfy purple pajamas. As expected, once my head hits the pillow, I fall asleep.
