Just a Disclaimer: I might say things that some people might find offending, so please don't get so butthurt. This is sort of like a rant book. • Also, I'm not really going to pay attention to grammer mistakes so don't judge if there's cringe and such.

Thank you.

So you're probably wondering, "How am I 2nd, 3rd, and 4th generation?"

Well, my dad is a 1st generation Mexican and my mom is half a 2nd and half 3rd generation- half Mexican-half Guatemalan, which makes me 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, and 3/4 Mexican and 1/4 Guatemalan. I just consider myself 3rd generation so it's right in the middle.

The thing is, I'm my dad came to the U.S. (Specifically California) as a baby but he was born in Mexico. My mom was born here in the U.S. in California. Her dad, my grandpa, was born here as well, but my grandma immigrated here when she was fifteen. Then, my mom's family moved to Nebraska. My dad's family also moved to Nebraska and that's when my parents met in high school.

Then I was born here, in Nebraska, and since then, lived here. My mom divorced my dad and remarried to my current step-dad, who I considered my dad. (Long story- short, he just treats me better).

So that's why I'm a 2nd, 3rd, and 4th generation Hispanic girl, in summary.
