My life in the hunger games

The beginning

I wake up to get ready to hunt. I accidentally wake Rose. Rose, "Stacey where are you going?" I say, "Little bunny I'm going into town. Go back to sleep ill be back later." She falls back asleep. I get dressed then go outside. I walk over to the fence behind our house and crawl under it. I walk over to the large rock where me and my best friend Josh meet. He finally shows up. Josh says, 'Hey Stacey you ready?" I say, "Ya I'm ready." We go to a hollow tree and Josh gets his knife and some homemade snares and I get my bow and arrows. We walk around and he places some snares and I shoot some things. We finally talk. I say, "So who do you like?" He says, "Well there's this girl. Her names Katniss. Who do u like?" I say, "Well the baker's son is kinda cute." Josh and I go back to hunting. By the time we're done we have a total of 8 rabbits, 2 squirrels, and 3 birds. We divide it evenly. I get 4 rabbits, I squirrel, and 1 bird. Josh gets 4 rabbits, 1 squirrel, and 2 birds. His family includes his mom who is 9 months pregnant and is due any day now, his dad who has lung cancer, his 11 year old brother Vax, and his 5 year old brother John. He has 6 mouths to feed including the unborn baby. I have 4.
