Ch.40

Kate's Pov
I woke up but didn't open my eyes. I stretched my arms and legs then yawned. I felt around for my glasses they weren't there so I opened my eyes. Oh that's why I couldn't find them I didn't wear them.

I felt it was gonna be a wonder day today, even if Luke has to leave. I go to the restroom, do my business, wash my hands then go into the living room to find Luke sprawled out on the couch, mouth wide open and snoring. I ran into the kitchen and grabbed some of the left over cookies.

I threw pieces of the cookie at him. One landed on his nose. This is my last piece. Shit. Let's hope for the best. I threw the cookie and it landed in his mouth in a flash he had me pinned to the wall.

"That was a nice one. But why couldn't you just wake me up babe" He ask his voice still raspy from just getting up. "Well as you can see. I'm not exactly normal" I say and chuckle. He smiles then checks his phone. His eyes go wide.

"I'm really sorry I don't want to seem like, I don't want to hang with you but I have a concert tonight" He says and I laugh. Why is he so worried? Was he mad I was gonna hate him? I understand he's famous he has things to do. "Yeah. Come on I understand." I say and grab my things then walk out to the car. Minutes later he comes out with a bag and some, left over food.

"Are you sure" he asks when he gets in the car. "I'm sure" I say and smile. He smiles back then we pull off and head back to my house.

Lacey's Pov
I woke up and admittedly I had a good feeling. I was happy. The smell of bacon hit my nose. In no time I was up and running down the stairs. I ran to the kitchen and ran into Annie and flour went all over the place including on me and Annie. "I'm so sorry mo-" I say but stop myself. Annie's eyes go wide but she covers it up. "Its ok go get cleaned up and breakfast will be ready when you come back" She says and I nod and walk back up the stairs. I almost called her mom.

I go to the guest room where Hanna is sleeping and grab some clothes then jump in the shower. I wash up, then wash my hair, rinse and get out. I'm not one to take long shower. I brushed my teeth, blow dried my hair then got dressed.

I walked out of the bathroom and saw that Hanna wasn't there so I walked downstairs. I heard three people talking. Kate's back so soon? I walk into the kitchen and see Annie, Hanna, and sure enough Kate. "Morning" Kate says casually. "Morning" I say. "Breakfast" Annie asks and nods towards the breakfast sitting on the table. "Yep. Kat how was the date " I ask and sit down. Kate next to me, Hanna next to Annie who was sitting in front of me. Kate probably couldn't tell but I was excited to hear.

"Nothing big. Food was disgusting but I didn't want to hurt his feelings." She says and I look away. That hurt right here * Points to Heart*. "That sucks" I say and eat my food. "I'm just playing with ya the food was wonderful. Thanks for cooking" She says and I smile.

"Anything happen while I was gone" She asks casual and I look at Hanna and Annie. "Really" I ask and they put their hands up in defense. "Tell what happened" She says squirming in her sit a bit. "Ann and Han begged me to call Zayn. I didn't, I went upstairs and went to sleep. Lou woke me up and asked what to do about Harry he got beat up over a girl and needed some assistance to recovery. It was a now or never kind of thing. He called me,we spilled our feelings for each other, we apologized and we laughed said I love you and that was it." I say and Kate sits there for a few more minutes before she grabbed me into a hug.

"I'm proud my baby is growing up and having kids. Next thing you know your gonna be married" She says and pinches my cheeks. We all laugh. "Who knows" I say and finish eating my food.
"Who's up for some shopping or something" Kate says and I look at her like she's crazy. "I just got up about 20 minutes ago. I'm feeling a bit cranky and my feet hurt. Do you really think I want to go to a mall and shop" I ask hoping she sees through me. "Yes" Kate says a little unsure.
