Ch. 53

Lacey's P.o.v

I don't feel like getting up but I really have to go to the bathroom. Niall was right. I do get hungry in the night. Right bathroom. I get up and rush to the bathroom. I do my business, wash my hands then walk out. I notice Niall wasn't on the bed but there was a note on the table.
(A/N when she says mother it's the one that left her and her sister. Mom is the one taking care of her now.)
I walk to the table and pick up the note hoping it wasn't another note from mother. Gladly it wasn't. I was from Niall.

'Sorry couldn't be here when you woke up. I have a meeting. The girls should be there making breakfast. Love ya.

I smiled. He thinks it's that easy. It has to be confirmed by Maura herself. The girls are here. I walk out of the bedroom and into the kitchen. "What happened" I ask the girls who were covered in everything that you could possibly make breakfast out of. "Well you see Niall asked us to make breakfast but Eleanor messed something up and here we are" Félicité says and wave her hands around. I mentally chuckle there gonna blame this on each other.

"I'm not gonna yell at ya but get this cleaned up before they come back" I say and walk out the kitchen but turn back around. "When did he leave & when is he coming back" I ask nobody in particular. "He left like 15 minutes ago. He didn't want to leave you. The boys had to drag him out and meetings don't usually last very long" Georgia says. "Thanks" I say and walk back out and to the bedroom.

I close the door and walk to the bathroom. I turn the water and make sure the temperature is okay. I put my hand under the water and wince. I pull back and change the water temperature. I check it again and it's perfect.

I take off my clothes then hop in the shower. I wash my hair with the hotel shampoo then rinse it out. I wash my body then rinse off. Took like 10 minutes that's shorter than my usual time. I get out of the shower and grab a towel that was on the rack then walk to the sink and brush my teeth, then I walked back into the bedroom with the towel wrapped around my body. I look around and notice that I have no clothes in here. But Niall does.

I bend down and get Niall's bag even though I'm not suppose to be bending over. I look through his clothes and pick out some black underwear and a white shirt. I slip on the clothes and then walk out the room. I walk to the kitchen to see if the girls cleaned the kitchen.

"Nice job" I say and nod in approval. "Thanks" Lottie says. "I need clothes and you girls need showers so let's go" I say and slip on Niall's house shoes. "I'm sorry but what are you wearing" Kate asks as we walk out of the hotel room. "It's Niall.You like" I ask and do a little spin.
"It's suits you because your pregnant" Kate says and walks in the girls room after them. "Your rude" I say to Kate and close the door. "I know" Kate says to me.

I walk to Eleanor, Lottie and I bedroom that I was in the first night we were here. I open the door and walk in. I go to my bag that was on a chair and open it. We're suppose to be going home today so something comfortable but easy to put on. I grab my black sports bra, black and white underwear with a tiny bow on the front. My Aztec leggings, a loose black shirt, and black socks with 1D in white. Someone knocks on the door and I turn around.

It was Hanna. "Where have you been" I ask and she shrugs. "Everywhere but nowhere sis" She says. "Okay" I say and sit down on the bed with her. "Did you get a note from mother" She asks and I groan. "I'm guessing that's a yes" She asks and I nod. "Yeah. Did Mom say anything about it" I ask. "She said she wanted to explain to everybody what's going on" She says and I nod. "You smell like sweat and paint and you look like you have sex hair" I say to her and she freezes. I swear everyone is hiding something from me, they have been for a while.

"Yeah. Let me go take a shower" She says getting up and grabbing her bag. "Alright" I say and she closes the bathroom door. She is definitely hiding something, not sure what it is but it's gotten weirder over the past few days. I change out of Niall's clothes and shoes and into my clothes I picked out. I walk to the living room and everybody but Hanna is there dressed and watching TV.

"You look good" Jay says once she notices that I'm there. "You too" I say. "Come sit on my lap babe" Niall says and pats his lap. "I'm fine" I say and he looks at me weird. I know him like the back of my hand. He wants a kiss, that he's not gonna get until I ask Maura if he apologized to her. "Really Lacey" Michael and Louis asks looking at me. "What" I ask and Louis shrugs. "Nevermind" Michael says. I know they read my mind.
"Sit here" Zayn says and gets up so I could sit down next to Niall. "Thanks. Z" I say and sit down while Zayn sits on the floor.

"Did ya get my note" Niall whispers in my ear. "Yes. I did" I say. "So can I get a kiss" He whispers. "No" I say and he pouts. "Why not" He asks. I'm glad he's done whispering because everybody can hear anyway. " Because I don't believe you" I say. " Well I don't believe you when you say I can't get a kiss" He says then tries to kiss me but I grab his lips. "Kiss me and I'll rip these off. You'll never be able to sing or kiss again" I say and let go of his lips.

"Is that a wedding ring on your finger" Hanna asks walking over to me. "Promise ring. Ask questions later" I say and show her the ring. "I'm so happy for you" She says and sit back down next to Zayn on the floor. "So I want to explain the notes" Mom says. Finally. "4 months ago and some days Mary-Lou asked me to watch over the girls, while she tracked down what is after Lacey" Annie says.

"How does she know something is after Lacey" Kate asked her mom. "Patrick. The girls father. He watches over everybody and when he shows up something is wrong. They don't know what it is yet but when they do they'll be back." Annie says. "Why are you protecting us" Hanna asks. "Because I'm a witch and because I'm your aunt" Annie says and I freeze. "Your not Beth. Right" I ask. "No but I'm her twin" Annie says. Well isn't my life eventful. First the fact that I'm a hybrid, pregnant by three different men, and I have an aunt I didn't even know I had. "Is there anything else" Louis ask. "One more thing" Annie says. "Lacey is human" Annie says and I give her an confused look. "What are you talking about" I ask. "Me and your mother talked a while back about turning you human so you don't ruin your kids life with being hybrid. You still have some powers" Annie says.
"This is ridiculous" Hanna says. "Well it's true. Just stick with a witch. Ashton you have a plane ticket for tomorrow. Nikki is on her way to our home" Annie says.

"That's it" I ask and she nods. "I believe everything" Jay says and everyone looks at her. "What I had a friend, she was in the same condition" Jay says. "That's settled." I say and clap my hands together. "Where have you been" I ask anyone who was gone. "You'll see when we get there" Hanna says. "What happened at your meeting" I ask Niall. "We have an interview" Niall says and I laugh. "Why do you seem nervous" I ask. "Because you have to come too" Niall says and I laugh. "Good one" I say and laugh again but no one laughs with me. "when" I ask. "Couple of days" Niall says and I nod.

Well looks like I'm doing an interview.
