The blue from her dress disappeared in front of us. I have no idea what I have just agreed on. I let a Roque I just capture run free to join another group of Roques that will most definitely attack my pack. For the few seconds that I could still see her, I regret all my life decisions.

What was wrong with me?

"What is wrong with you?" Caleb asked me echoing my own thoughts.

"I am giving her a chance to prove I am making a good decision," I say and that would maybe make sense if it wasn't for the four pair of eyes staring at me like I've lost my mind.

"She almost killing my mate wasn't a good enough warning for you? We can't leave her just... We don't know her."

"She was asking a lot about new members." Trevor jumped on our conversation.

"So what? Is she thinking about becoming one?" Zane asks as he thought it was the best joke to ever be told.

"Listen, why are we talking? Am I the only one bothered by being here and she's free?"

I scent the air and I breathe in four different scents coming from the woods, unrecognizable, and one that I've been trying to ignore ever since I found her in my basement.

"Trevor and I are going after them, you and Zane should watch out for the border" I look at Jason who's been quiet for too long now, even though he'd healed just fine. "You should check on Eliza and then get some of the fighters and scan the other borders with them"

They nod but then, of course, I notice Caleb move uncomfortably by my side. Here we go.

"We can't afford to lose you or Trevor."

My wolf arise on the surface, he felt insulted by the idea that one of his followers think he's too weak to face this. This is nothing, I trust that red-headed girl more than I am trusting Caleb to go after her.

"Ok, never mind, we will report soon," He says and the three of them leave us.

I don't know what to expect, if she turns on us, Trevor and I will be outnumbered and it won't be pretty. She had more control over her wolf than she'd let us know, she could control her wolf's every move and I could still sense her human soul, fierce and strong. Being alone in a fight with her, excited me, it challenged me in ways I couldn't possibly explain, but fighting her with four out of control rogues was a different story.

"Okay Ty, not like I don't believe in our force and all, but what is the plan?" Trevor asks and normally he wouldn't just sound so uncertain, but I guess she scared my beta.

"There's none. Let find them and stay back, as stupid as my idea seems now, let's see what she does, if she really does cares about whatever she's looking she won't turn on us"

No matter how much she was affecting me, betraying me won't give her a second chance.

He smiles at me and I look at the forest we were about to enter, dangerously enter I should add.

"Let's go then, boss"

I run through the known trees if it was a normal day I would run this whole area just to make sure I wouldn't forget the location of each tree and made sure everything was where it was supposed to be. But mostly because running, alone, was the best time I had.

Today it bothers me a bit that I have no idea what I am running towards, but it soothed me that I had Trevor behind me. I look to my side as I notice a small movement a few paces ahead of us. I point and it didn't take much for us to reach where the spectacle was happening.
