Chapter Fourteen

A/N: Prepare for hilarity!

~Mira' POV~

Age 19

"Mira-sensei!" Naruto yelled for me causing people to stop and stare.

I turned around with a laugh only to find that Naruto wasn't alone as he raced toward me. Sakura, a girl with pink hair and pale jade eyes, and Sasuke were at his heels. The three of them caught up to me and took a moment to catch their breath.

"What are you three doing?" I asked curiously.

"We're on a mission!" Naruto exclaimed excitedly.

"So, where's Kakashi?" I pondered.

"He's the mission." Naruto continued with a sly smile.

"What?!" I nearly doubled over with laughter, "What are you talking about?"

"Mira-sensei, have you ever seen Kakashi-sensei without his mask?" Sakura asked me curiously.

My cheeks flushed with color, "What kind of question is that?"

The three of them exchanged curious looks before staring at me expectantly. "What's he hiding under there?" They asked in unison.

"His face." I said after taking a moment to collect myself.

"Does he have big lips, or buck teeth, or maybe a tiny mouth?" Naruto asked throwing wild accusations every which way hoping something would stick.

"No. He has none of those."

"Will you help us spy on him?" Naruto asked me hopefully.

I shrugged, "Why not, I have nothing better to do today anyway and this could be entertaining. What did you have in mind?"

"Ask him to go to the hot spring with you." Naruto said as if it were obvious.

My face grew hot and I was sure it was now a brilliant shade of scarlet, "What?!"

"It's co-ed." Sasuke noted as he held up two vouchers for a nearby spa.

"You said you'd help." Sakura guilted me.

I was going to die of embarrassment. Snatching the vouchers from Sasuke I turned and stomped in the direction I sensed Kakashi's presence.

"Wait we have to find him first-."

"This way." I sighed as I tried to keep myself from blushing. This was ridiculous, why did I agree to help them?

The trio took to the rooftops to conceal themselves as I made my way to the market. Kakashi stepped out of a nearby shop with a bag full of groceries in one hand, and a book in the other. He paused as he noticed me standing across the street.

"Is everything okay?" He tucked his book away as he crossed the street to join me. "You look a little flushed." He reached out to press his hand to my forehead and I slapped his hand away with a squeak causing him to throw me a curious look, "Mira?"

I held up the vouchers, "I-I wanted to see if you'd be interested in going together." My heart was racing in my chest so fast I was sure it was going to explode.
