Pip had to sit next to Damien in health class as well. They didn't have desks in Health Class. There were small tables that sat two people at each. Since Wendy had sat next to Pip in Health, and there was an empty seat now, Damien had been appointed to sit there by the teacher.
Pip was in an irritated mood. He had forgotten his painkillers in his room, and he was in so much pain. His arm wasn't the only thing that hurt.
He had minor burns all over his body. There was also a giant spot on his lower leg where shards of glass had sliced into his skin when he had fallen through a first story window when trying to get away from Wendy.
It was a miracle he was alive, and he sorta wished he wasn't. If he had died, it would've been easier. Now his parents had to spend countless amounts of money to care for his injuries.
He was a huge f^c(!ng joke, now more than ever.
Pip sighed and pulled his hood over his head. He thumped his head down on the desk and tuned out the teacher's rambling.
"Are you OK?" Came Damien's high pitched voice from next to him.
Pip raised his head a little.
"No." He replied.
He could feel Damien's eyes on him. Making an effort to put his head up, Pip stared at Damien right back. Damien's eyes were on Pip's neck for some reason.
"You need something or...?" Pip asked, raising his eyebrows.
Damien broke eye contact.
"No."
"Alright then." Pip's head suddenly found itself on the desk once more as he reevaluated his life choices.
