Elle's POV
We walked in to Damien's house and his cats greeted us at the door. "Awww." I said as I bent down to pet the cats. "So you love cats too." Damien said as he put down his jacket and keys." "Yeah, I'm a total cat person." I said. We sat down on the couch, had dinner, and played games. It was around 2 when I was getting tired. "Where should I sleep?" I said. "You can sleep on the couch or I have an extra room if you wanna sleep there, but there aren't a lot of blankets in there." He said as he turned off the tv. " I'm gonna sleep on the couch." I said while positioning myself. He got up to leave. "Well if your going to sleep I guess I'll go to my room. He said. "No it's fine. I am a deep sleeper of you want to stay here longer."
"Ok I guess." He said as he sat back down. I was laying down and was an inch away from his chest. I payed again this chest and suddenly I heard his heartbeat fasten. I smiled to myself and slowly fell asleep.

Damien's POV
I sat down next to her and the next thing I knew she had her head resting against my chest. I slowly got more nervous. Was I gaining feelings for her? No! I can't won't let a great friend escape just because I have feelings for her. No matter how much I wanted to stay there, I left the couch and got into my own bed. I decided to text Shayne.
( d- Damien, s- Shayne)

D- hey dude
S-what
S- why are you up so late
D- I have Elle over at my place and she fell asleep on my chest
S- oooooooo
S- Damien's got a girlfriend
D- NO
D- I don't want to risk a great friendship
S- can we talk about this at work or something, I would like to get a little bit of sleep.
D- ok goodnight
I set my alarm for 7:00 and went to sleep.

Time skip (still Damien's POV)
I woke up at 7 and walked into the kitchen. I saw Elle sleeping on the couch and thought that I should let her sleep. I made pancakes for breakfast and had some extra for Elle. I walked over to her and slightly shook her. "Elle, Elle."

Elle's POV
I woke up to Damien shaking me and saying my name. "Hey did you sleep well?" He said while I was getting up. "Yeah, are those pancakes I smell?" I said as I walked to the kitchen. "Yeah I thought I would whip something up while you were asleep." We both grabbed plates and sat across from each other. "So... about last night." Damien said. "What about last night?" I said while getting utensils.
"Listen I like you and to be honest I have had a little crush on you, but I love being friends with you and I wouldn't want to ruin that for the world." He said. I was shocked. I really liked him too. But maybe I shouldn't tell him that to. I swallowed hard. "Yeah I like our friendship too." I was a bit heart broken. "Thanks Elle." He said as he gestured for a hug. We hugged for a while. I didn't want to let go. But I had to. "Hey I got an interview for you at smosh, do you wanna drive to work with me." He said
"You know I don't officially have the job right?" I said as I grabbed my coat. "Yeah but I have a good feeling that you'll fit right in with us." We got into his car and drove to his job. Hopefully I would get a good job.
