chapter 1

Makeia's POV
"Do you have the answers to the work we did in science?" Jasmine asked. "Did you try at all?" I said a bit disappointed. "Well, Xiumin and I hung out at his place last night. So I didn't have time." She says. I hand her the homework cause I always do. I'm one of the top 10 in our class. Jasmine is a bit lower she's smart but she's always worried about her newest boy toy. *ring*

The bell rang and we started for our homeroom.

The teacher begins to talk to us about upcoming events and other projects due in classes. I pull out my book and begin to read and wait till jasmine finishes copying all her homework. "So how are you and xiumin?" I ask. Jasmine smiles then she says "I really enjoy spending time with him." she blushes. "Do you still like that one guy?" I pause and look at her knowing who she's talking about and shake my head no. I ignore the thought of him, he wasn't good for me I have no clue why I even agreed to date him.

*time skip*

It's time for lunch and I normally don't eat anything I sit at the usual table, and I wait for jasmine and youngjae they are my two best friends. I can hear Youngjae and jasmine coming cause they are loud. "So are you and Xiumin a thing? What is this your fifth boyfriend this month?" Youngjae jokes with jasmine. "Stop! I like him!" jasmine yells. "Guys shut up oh my gosh I swear how did I get stuck with Y'all?"I hug them.

We eat our lunch and have our nonsense conversations. Youngjae leaves to go talk to some of his guy friends. "Are you gonna actually gonna stay with Xiumin, or is this to get back at Hoseok?" I ask her. She looked down for a bit "well you see at first it was revenge, but then I'm starting to like him." "Oh, you do what you want I guess," I say. "we should have a movie marathon this weekend! It will be fun!" she basically yells, I laugh. "Okay, is it gonna be just us though?"

*time skip*

The bell rings and I leave pre-cal my least favorite class. Ughhhh, thank goodness. I start to walk home to our apartment. I had time to think of myself as I walked. Then I felt a hand on my shoulder my body stiffened. I turned to see who it could be and to my relief it was youngjae. "Haha, what's wrong did I scare you?" he teased. "Yes, you did what are you doing anyway?" "Well you see I'm having trouble with homework, and you're smart so can you help me pleaseeeee?" he asks cutely. " yes but you have to pay attention you and jasmine always get off topic easily," I say a bit seriously.

We head to Narnia as we call it, to add character to our little. abode. Jasmine and I live together we made a promised we would to get away from all the negativity in our homes. We work at a small coffee shop called Mocha Delight. After school, we work but today is my off day and jasmine works that's how she met xiumin.

We arrive at Narnia and we set down our backpacks. I change into a pair of shorts and a hoodie. "do you want something to drink?" I ask. "no I'm fine, thanks though. Let's watch a movie!" he yells. "Jae you said you wan.... Actually yes let's watch a movie." he looks at me surprised. He quickly turns the tv on and goes to Netflix. He chose the Hunger Games it is one of my favorites.

Youngjae sits beside me and we share a bowl of popcorn and a small blanket. Halfway through the movie my eyelids become droopy and I'm leaning on Youngjae. At this point and the warmth of him makes me even sleeper. I feel him scoot closer to me as if he knows I'm about to doze off. I generally begin to fall asleep and before you know it my sleepiness consumes me.

Author note: ayoooo this is my first time writing sorry if you don't like it. I'd like to say it will get better and juicier over time, but who knows if it will so I won't give you false hope..... lol -jazz
