It was a typical summer day. The van had no air conditioning so it heated up like an oven under the sun. along the highway was crystal clear river. The refreshing water taunted me as I drove bye. As I looked out my window I could hear the faint ramblings of the social worker. I don't need to listen to know what she is saying. I've heard this speech so many times that I could recite it by heart. "This home will be different," "You better behave," what a bunch of bull. It will be the same. I'm just happy that I'll be out of the system in two years.
