My alarm clock beeps. I stop it, go in the shower, and get dressed. I put on a white tee, black jeans, a comfy beige champion hoodie, and my white yeezys. I do my hair and grab my bags, then run downstairs.

"Ready to go?" my older sister, Katherine, asks.
"Yep," I reply, out of breath.
I'm going to a meetup in Chicago, Illinois with my friends and staying with my best friend, Dylan, for a few days.
We walk outside. The cold, crisp, winter Wisconsin air blows through my hair. I put my bags in the trunk, get in the passenger seat, and close the door. Katherine pulls out of the driveway and begins driving to the airport. I turn on Shawn Mendes (my husband!).
