What Do YOU Want....?

Holy crap, it's hot! 80 degrees isn't much to other states, but here in Maine it's lke being boiled. I'm thinking about heading off to the community pool. I invited Lexi to come with me, but she couldn't she has to work today. I put my splatter paint bikini on, grabbed a towel and headed toward my destination.

When I got there I saw the sigh the staff usually pus up to keep kiddies from peeing in the pool, "Welcome to our OOL, notice there is no P in it and let's keep it that way." I chuckled silently to myself thinking about how that used to amuse me. The pool was packed. I wasn't sure if there was any room for me to even fit in! So I found an empty chair, which wasn't easy to do, stipped down into my bathing suit and just tanned for a while.

Before I was lucky enough to doze off, I heard someone calling my name.

"Macy, hi."

I looked up and saw none other than Craig Drew, the school's biggest jerk, smiling ay me. How did he recognize me, or better yet, even see me? "Oh, what do you want Craig?" I reluctantly asked. I wasn't sure I wanted to know exactly why he even bothered to even say hi.

"Jesus Macy, calm down. All I wanted to do was say hi. I noticed you from over at the entrence. But I also wanted to know if you would like to accompany me tomorrow might, for a date?" I noticed the smirk he had on his face at the and of his question.

I wan't really sure how to answer his question. I mean, why is HE of all people, asking me out? Part of me wanted to scream "no" in his face and walk away because nothing good can really come out of this situation. But the bigger part of me was geniunely curious on what he was planning. So, reluctantly, I accepted.

"Great, see you tomorrow night at 7, I'll pick you up then." he said with a smirk.

I wanted nothing more than to slap that smirk right off his face. As much as I dislike the guy, I have to admitt, he was quite attractive. With his soft brown hair, gorgeous brown eyes.... No. No Macy you can't think that way. Just go back to tanning and clear your mind. That's it forget everything that just happened....
