Eli X Trixie

Chapter 6: Sly Melody...

Trixie's POV

I glanced at my surroundings. The hotel room was quite decent and simple. But in a good way though. Inside the place, was two small-sized beds separated by two bedside tables. I slid the glass door and breathed in the air. Sometime later, I walked up to the bed closer to the balcony when Melody interrupted me,"Who said that was your bed?" 

"I did?" I replied, raising an eyebrow. I felt her burning blue eyes falter for a second before regaining her composure,"Oh really then?" I watched in bafflement as she chucked all of her luggage on my bed and smirked at me. Calm down Trixie, she's just trying to get under your skin... And besides, it's only going to be a night only. How bad could it be? I sighed in defeat,"Fine whatever, you can have your bed. Geez."

"Hmph! I thought so." As she leaned closer to me and whispered,"I would recommend you to not mess with me, otherwise you'll be sorry. You'll be very sorry in fact." I stood there in silence and absorbed all of that information when a knock was heard outside. "Trixie? Melody? You guys in there?" Eli called. 

"Come on guys, I'm starving!" Pronto whined. Melody's ears perked up instantly at the sound of Eli's voice like a dog perking up its ears when it hears its owner's voice. Oh, of course, Melody would instantly react to Eli's voice. "Trixie? Trixie? You coming?" Kord questioned, snapping me back to reality. 

"O-oh yeah, coming," I replied, giving him a not-so-reassuring smile. Kord paused and stared at me concerningly," You alright Trix? You haven't been yourself since Melody came along and you always seem down when Melody's hanging out with Eli... Could you perhaps have a crush on Eli?" Kord hit straight on the bullseye. I stayed silent and felt my face fuming with heat. Was it really that obvious? Does this mean... Melody knows I have a thing for Eli? I continued to panic when a hand was placed on my shoulder,"You know I was joking right?" I nodded my head vigorously and hastily turned my head away.

"Oh yeah, that hit the spot," Eli exclaimed after everyone had finished their dinners. 

"That sure did," Kord agreed blissfully, rubbing his stomach. While Melody was directly flirting with Eli, I sipped my juice quietly.
Pronto clears his throat, "Pronto thinks we should have a toast to the Shane Gang."

"What a great idea Pronto," Eli stood up,  "I would like to have a toast to the Shane Gang." With a small boost of energy, I tapped Kord's shoulder and whispered," I'm going to head back early. I don't feel too well."

"Are you okay? Do you need to see a doctor?" Kord whispered back with worry. I shake my head," It's just a small stomachache. It'll be gone in no time."

Melody's pov

Everything is going to plan I see... I smirk to myself. By the time I finished this, Eli will be mine. I've watched Trixie's facial expression and so far she's backing off but I'm not done yet... I get lost in my thoughts until Eli's voice comes to view. "Melody? Melody? Did you hear what I said?"

I flash him a flirty smile," Of course, Eli-bear. I'm going to stay by your side, since you insisted so much."

I could feel Eli stiffen up because obviously he was nervous around me. He asked me something again," Have you seen Trixie anywhere?" Her again? Out of everyone, ugh. I sent him a flashy smile once again,"  She said she had a stomachache so she went back to the hotel." Eli suddenly stood up ," Melody stay here. I'm going to check if she's alright." Out of desperation, I grab Eli's wrist to pull him back down on the seat.

"Ouch! What was that for Melody?!" Eli exclaims in a mixture of anger and surprise. "She's going to be okay. Can you please just stay?" I plead while still holding his arm. Eli shakes his head, excuses himself and leaves the restaurant. It's always that Trixie. Trixie this and Trixie that. Trixie won't see this coming. With that thought stuck on my mind, I rush after Eli.

Trixie's pov

I didn't know what to feel about Melody and Eli. I thought Eli looked uncomfortable with Melody but I guess I was wrong. From my brown- leather bag, I grab up the camera and began to view photos of Eli and I.  I only manage to view a few photos until a knock was heard outside.

"Eli?"
