4. The Talk

'Wait wait wait, what....How, I mean why...... Oh god I'm so sorry' - I said swiftly getting up my feet, but the wound on my knee was setting me back. I grabbed onto whatever was next to me and tried to balance myself, without believing, standing in front of two of my biggest idols.

-'No, please don't excuse yourself, it's all my fault. Here, sit down' - Grayson added, helping me sit on a bench nearby. Ethan was right next to him, looking confused as well.

How did this even happen? First time going out in LA, and I stumbled upon them.

'Thank you so much, oh my God sorry, I haven't even properly introduced myself. I am Rose' - I added with a smile, not very confident but trying to sound the part.

-'Nice to meet you Rose. My name is Ethan, and this is Grayson, but judging by your shirt, I think you already knew that' - Ethan added with a smile plastered on his face. Oh God, he was so attractive.

-'Wait I think I heard of you. You're a producer, right?' - Grayson added, scratching the back of his neck in a very cute way. Oh God, he was even more attractive.

'Yeah, the last time I checked, I was' - I said through a grin. 'I am so happy to meet you two, I've been following you since you opened your YouTube channel'

-'Well that's very nice to hear' - Grayson said, a little more confident in his words this time. 'But wait, your knee is bleeding, let me go to our car and grab a first aid kit. Again, really sorry for this one' - he added while jogging to the parking lot.

-'So, what brings you to LA Rose?' - Ethan asked me, seeming interested.

'Actually, I have what I like to call a 'trial month' here' - I said with a grin on my face. 'I'm here to work on my producing for a bit, and maybe get a record deal'

-'Woah, that's really cool, and here we are, stopping you from doing it by setting you back' - he said and laughed a little.

'I'm shocked to hear you say that, of course you're not, I would fangirl until tomorrow but I know it would be cringey' - I added on, gaining some confidence. Do I even have confidence? This is a new to me.

-'Of course it wouldn't, don't worry about it, it's always nice to meet a fan of ours'

Is this even happening? Is this a dream? Why would they be so nice? This confusion is growing by every second sitting next to him.

-'Hey, you okay?' - Ethan said, sounding a little concerned.

'Yea, just spaced out. Jetlag is kinda killing me at the moment, I just arrived here a couple of hours ago' - I said, a grin still stuck on my face. Rose stop it, it's literally killing the mood.

-'Hey I'm here, sorry for the wait. Now, hold your leg straight' - Grayson said, holding a first aid kit, literally hovering above my leg.

After two minutes that seemed like a lifetime, my knee was covered in a bandaid, and the pain went away a little. God, it went away almost completely by just looking at them. I still can't believe that this happened.

'Thank you so much guys, I can't even feel the pain anymore' - I added on standing up now. 'Well I shouldn't set you back by now so I'll be on my way'

-'No way dude, let me at least take you out for pizza, I want to' - Grayson said. 'I mean WE want to, after kinda being responsible for trashing your knee, you know' - he added on swiftly trying to cover up his words.

Wait, what? I mean, why were they so nice? Something here is fishy. I don't know if I should do it. But on the other hand, why should I not, am i literally contemplating this? FUCK YES I'M DOING IT.

' Yeah, of course, why not' - I said after an awkward silence. 'I mean, you kinda did ruin my day' I said with the best fake concern face I could make.

-'Oh God I'm so sorr'

'I'm just kidding Grayson, let's go' - I said through a laugh, going straight forward. 'Wait, where are we even going?' - I added, laughing to my lack of knowledge of the city.

-'Well you're just a laughball aren't you? Here, follow us' - Ethan added on, guiding the way to a big looking pizza place.

*2 hours later*

'And that's how I accidentally ended up in a different city' - I ended my story, trying not to burst in laughter. They already did, pounding their fists on the table and trying to relate to the 'problem'.

-'Oh my God, that is hilarious' - Grayson said, after a long time of laughing.

I still can't believe it. Not only I met them, but we were talking, for a long amount of time. This just started perfectly.

-'Bro, I don't want to kill the buzz, but the party is starting in an hour and we need to get ready' - Ethan said, shocked at how much time passed.

-'Oh snap, totally forgot about that one. Wait, Rose, do you want to come with us?' - Grayson said. 'I mean it's not that big of a party, it's like a get together'

IS. THIS. REALLY. HAPPENING. They literally invited me to ta party, knowing me this little?

'Yeah, I would be glad to come. But where is it?' - I said, trying to fight down a grin.

-'Don't worry about that, just write me down your address and we'll pick you up in about an hour, that okay? - Grayson said, a little too excited. Or am I just seeing things?

'No problem, and thank you again, for everything' - I said. 'I should get going now, so see you later?'

-'Yeah definitely, see you' - Grayson said and grinned.

I walked out of the place and lit up a cigarette. Did this thing really happen right now?
